  1. mmm gt-t, fail for injector options. 725 will do it, hamish has 700's doesn't he? so either/or really. i still think that power is pushing it. yes i know a select few have been lucky, and fair enough. i just have a feeling as more people start pushing that we will see more failures over time. something to think about if you can't afford a rebuild.
  2. Same as turbosmart. It's simple maths. if they sell a 14 & 7, then you can only have 21 by combination. essentially you can only have the psi spring base that they sell and you combine.
  3. 400rwkw @ 1bar on -5's? sorry, not possible. anyway... in the realm of realism -5's as stated will do 380-400rwkw, but you'll need a minimum of 20-22psi injectors as stated will probably hinder the setup.
  4. when mine died due to the cart/bearings the turbo span reasonably well. it was just slightly off balance and hitting the housing a tiny bit as it wasn't huge failure. would get worse if i left it running of course.

  6. on the line size... that won't make a difference because... the issue with blocked lines will again be at the cartridge. the internal restrictor is tiny and won't take much to block and thus a dead cart due to oil starvation

  8. just use the factory airbox? solves your problem, works perfectly fine, and then let's you run a FMIC. win win win really.
  9. as you said a cracked oil pump, what exactly? did you loose pressure when driving etc? I'm with the others, cooler piping is most likely. otherwise id say a collapsed cartridge due to low oil supply/pressure due possibly the pump issue also mentioned. i highly doubt a wheel has come off or similar.
  10. You cannot find a 1900x1200 cheaper than $300 anywhere. 140 the price is. Of course it comes with power cable etc. The monitor is under half the RRP just because the power button doesn't work which for 99% of people it makes no difference. Condition otherwise is perfect. I keep all my gear clean and working 100%. Anyone that's brought PC parts off me knows this
  11. Hang on a sec... 425 @ wheels/25psi/GT-RS? -5s will do that on E85 on the same boost (given they do 380 on PULP) - something is amiss here. Be interesting to see what 30psi does, hoping to see more than 40kw

  13. Bolt on spacers are not illegal - since when are they? They will pass an engineers far as i am aware as long as they locate. I drive my 350rwkw GTR with spacers, there is NO issue what so ever. The car has done over 10 track days, DECA/Motorkhana's etc etc before i owned it abd has been fine for 2 years possibly longer. They are being used on factory R33 GTR wheels to fill the guards/better track, so its not about buying "better" fitting wheels, its making them fit fine and safely I had Police defect me the other day for tyres, and had a good look @ the whole wheel setup and said nothing. (they were wrong, the tyres i have are actually legal, but meh, no point arguing when there was no fine/RWC involved and an officer thats clearly uneducated)

  18. Just for shits I just did the 1000's 1000/745kw ~675rwkw @ 100% (PULP) People are quoting what, 25% extra for E85? 1000’s based on 25%... (675-170=505) So 500rwkw max, 450rwkw @ 90%, 425rwkw @ 85% (roughly) 30% 470 max, 420 90%, 400 85% Just theory of course. And not taking into account any rail pressure bumping and so on. Real world would indeed prove otherwise
  19. mmm… Well just doing some rough numbers - and I repeat, rough 700cc = 700hp/521kw (take off 70kw, drivetrain loss, yes I know that’s again, rough guess) ~440rwkw @ max/380rwkw @ 85% (PULP) Then 800cc … ~530rwkw max/450rwkw @ 85% (PULP) Friend of mine had ~300awkw E85 in an EVO with 1000’s and they were not nearly maxed – remembering AWKW so easily over 500hp @ the motor. So ye it would be line ball. I’m surprised you had 1000’s maxed @ 400rwkw. 50/50 mix would be a ok though either way you'd assume. I'm planning on getting Sard 800's myself, -5s and then going E85 if needed and rough numbers did suggest the 800's with a bit of a rail pressure increase would get me there. If i max then so be it lol, I'll just go a 50/50
  20. well those turbos on 98 will do 380-400rwkw. so around 420-440on E85 you'd assume (roughly). 800 should just make it if not a minor pressure bump will get over the line.
  21. nice long list of parts, 1/2 of them aren't needed. read the thread directly below this, basically the same point... factory motors will do that just fine. dropping 10k for 280rwkw or so is silly. you could have 4 2nd hand ones for that price.
  22. let me get my crystal ball out to find out the setup mods... or... you could tell just us. Can't expect us to answer if you don't tell us the constraints/parts etc. for all we know you have stock turbos
  23. steam is awesome.. that said i rarely play games over it at the moment. might get some BC2 goin again soon though.
