  1. Stuff gets challenged on a daily basis in the courts, they have not made any major law revisions for years.
  2. The Police are wrong. Did he defect you? If so, dispute the notice. If he just EPA'd you - You'll just have to take it in to be checked. Nothing major and the PODS are fine (as long as they are not oiled) What i would do however is once you get the EPA, lodge a request under Freedom of Information to get the officers name/details (if you didn't write em down)and have a lawyer challenge it. You will win by default because they are wrong. People have gotta start taking a stand with this uneducated Police B/S we are experiencing.

  5. Top weekend as always... I was having some boost issues and hence a good 5-7 seconds off the other GTR's And on the way home I've sprung a dirty oil leak so it was a smokey drive home, but overall it was a top weekend. Thanks to all the volunteers who sat out in the Sun. I've done a Nov DECA in 30-35 degree heat too and i know it's certainly not an easy task, so many thanks!

  9. PM Snowman - he has similar issues with his Getrag years ago, Getrags are not as simple as a R33/R32 gearbox - nor as cheap.

  11. LSV do not insure Imports anymore - i called them a couple weeks ago as my GTS-R was insured with them as a classic (as it was virtually 25yrs old they allowed it). But R33 GTR, no go from the outset

  13. indeed, not quite that simple as stated. remember the further you go out/larger the circle, the more area you get with each increase in radius. hence you only tend to see a twin system on skyline for ride height/clearance issues and sometimes noisenot really for flow. although that said the 400rwkw r32gtst down here has a very nice and quiet 4" tucked up into the body.
  14. you get cranks over there for 600? new crank would be best as you not only have to fit the collar, you also need it checked. and when people say to keep it 'off' the limiter, its exactly what it means. be that 7.4, 8or 9k. bashing the limiter will cause stress on the pump gears and eventually it'll shatter. so just because yours is lower don't think you are safe. for 500rwhp though you'll still likely be making power at 7.4 so a low limiter will hurt power band.

  18. Well sadly, he is an idiot. Dyno variance in most cases is +/- 15rwkw, thats a reasonable range. 80rwkw, thats just plain horse shit Put it on the dyno - and not for a rwkw figure. Use it to see the AFR's, the power/torque/boost graph and so on. Will tell you exactly how the car is performing and is a MUST for anyone modifying

I'm now with Shannons for my 33R, initial quote was 35k ageed/2700 premium. under 30 and postcode mainly. no fines etc. friend of a friend knew someone and suddenly the quote turned into 40k agreed/1700 So try and find someone that works there is all i have to say. the fact i had 1k difference just by talking to someone was rather ridiculous and shows they rip the average punter.

  24. I've heard that more times than I've had hot dinners. Plus at the end of the day all you have is a mail order tune. It will not be as accurate as one done on the day by the tuner as "mail order" tunes are generally more conservative to makeup for the lack of onsite work the cars dont shit themselves
