  1. so sleep for 2hrs and then come I've come direct from nightshift to events before! also looks like ramp stuff is sorted. thanks to Dan, we are checking it out Thursday night now. problem averted at this stage
  2. nothing special. just saw, hammer... it'll be fairly rudimentary style, but it'll work
  3. steam update or the game? its always your internet connection dependant mainly mate. i DL full games in 30-40mins usually, 1.4mb/s FTW
  4. +1
  5. Oh bugger – totally forgot to update about some things. 1. NDSOC (Nissan Datsun) are there also, just next to where we were. So there will be some sweet old school Zed’s and there. So this will be a HUGE HUGE show’n’shine potentially holding over 100 cars. 2. We have gained a “elevated” area to park cars on – I will decide which cars go there (cars like Matt’s 34GTR, Scott/Johns R32 GTR replica etc). 3. Entry plan has changed slightly. I will do a map shortly. Essentially it’s the same, we are just using a new gate. I will post this later tonight. And the big one… I need help – I need to make 2 ramps to get cars onto the elevated area I plan to do this on Sat as Calder looks like it’ll be cancelled weather wise. Anyone willing to come and help? I will do it outta wood, cover all expenses etc. Just need someone to bring a saw and a few other bits. Probably start about 10am, measure it up. Then go to hardware store and buy/create some magic So it does kinda help if you are good with your hands etc at this stuff – if not it’ll just cause issues If you can help out it would be appreciated, it’ll be worth the effort I promise that much

just because events don't come to you... doesn't mean you cannot go to them plenty of unofficial meets going on at present... and official ones for members
  7. Depends if you are external or internal – either way, bigger does no harm at all. Couldn’t agree more. I’ve seen cars make 350rwkw with a 3” as well. Swap it over to a 3.5” and boom, another 15-20rwkw and better midrange. Some are users here (some have also posted, which is good) Just because it makes the power, you can get a 3” to 400rwkw no problems, doesn’t mean that putting something bigger will not provide benefit. Well with 2x 3.5” straight through mufflers (they are massive), I’m around what, 90dB, so it must be possible Mufflers weren’t cheap, but they certainly have some effect. Not really no, 3” with little bends and straight through mufflers is plenty for up to 250-300rwkw. All you get is noise @ that level.
  8. Of course not, i don't want a console designed game. Plus MW2 was shit house. I wont waste my money again. Friend of mine who plays online/PC - reckons its shit at this stage (game control mechanics are shit, but that'll be due to console IMO). He plays all the FPS shooters - tier1, MW2, BC2 etc etc - so good enough of a review for me not to waste my money this time round. I've not changed the major parts in my PC really for nearly 3 years. Only thing I've changed was a graphics card, @ a cost of $150 I'd rather do that every 18-24 months than play games designed to run off 4yr old graphics
  9. Mate dyno variance +/-15rwkw. To aim for "204 or 206rwkw" from a stock turbo is splitting hairs.
  10. Head - not worth it. Turbo wise, most you'll make legit is 200rwkw on the factory turbo on about 11psi. About as much boost as you want to run so it doesn't fail.
  11. That's always been the case If you are only 5km/h over into the next "bracket", plead under it by 2-3km/h and you are set. Happens regularly as Graeme has said, it's preferred actually. Issue in Victoria is, they don't legally have to show you the camera. Its ridiculous, but that's how it is. Suppose you could ask to see the model? As you said you'd had 2 previous offences in 3yrs - you might find the 3rd offence, and of such a high nature... could unfortunately lead to a non-renewal of policy (worst case) Agree with everyone else though - lawyer up without a doubt. Don't go in alone. I've been to court 2 or 3 times for speeding/driving stuff, gone in with a lawyer and so far I've had a total of around 5 of 8 charges dropped in those appearances. One was a "claimed" 140km/h+ in a 80 zone. Ended up being brought down to well under 100km/h for various reasons. Not quite the same here, given this is a camera and not an officer base situation. I'd be very inclined to say it will be dismissed unquestionably based on the evidence provided in this thread.
  12. He never actually gave you a price. He just said what others sell them for - brand new. Just look in the FS section, RB26 blocks sell for 2/10ths of fk all really 2nd hand. Forget spending coin on a N1 block, not essential and plenty of cars running 400rwkw on a normal block
  13. Just like you and your singlet in winter?
  14. Because lets face it - most guys are pussy whipped
  15. You are kidding right? More like console kills the game - If consoles were not around the level of graphics and game play of these games would be significantly better. But as games are coming out and coded with 4yr old hardware in mind as opposed to what's available today or tomorrow, you always get a fking shit game which is but a shade of what it could be
  16. must have been a lot of reading done between Jun and Oct wouldn't you say? 4 months, and lets just say 1,000 threads - average what - 20 posts to be fair about all the drama's of these piston slapping motors... 160 posts/day read... LOL...
  17. ^ They do seem to be a perish/serviceable type of thing don't they. Kinda like plugs and so on. I know a couple people who's beanies didnt last all that long (couple years tops) But then they are cheap for their benefit. Do you have a heat shield Paul? I could tell a massive difference when I had my lowmount/RB25 setup with or without the shield on. Take it off and everything was virtually untouchable on the turbo side, heat shield back on and while the shield was hot, it served its purpose and cam covers etc were fine to touch
  18. ... Click here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Sa...-Parts-f12.html And simply do exactly what you did last time. Ensure you read the forum rules, certain things are required. Thanks.
  19. read my post. you need 4" for 400-440 (t04z) range. 3" will be hurting that setup.
  20. There is a list of permitted vehicles on the VicRoads website.
  21. Makes no difference. It's just used for a dash light. Either tuck it up under there or cut it off, its what everyone else does
  22. You'll never see any discounting on Apple. Prices are set in stone, and businesses that try and sell cheaper than the set price lose the product. Thanks Steve Jobs for that
  23. Proper bolt on spacers that locate - no problem. My R33 GTR has them, pushes the factory R33 GTR wheels out nicely to fill the guards up - fixing Nissan's fail Car is fine, and it has done a lot of track work by the previous owner.
  24. sounds like the stolen cars are returning home in pieces.
