  1. totally depends on setup, what you want etc. could be 7k, could be 25k
  2. Just use GTR rod's. Its what mine had put into it, was fine. 470cc injectors limit you to just over 300rwkw anyway. If you are keeping boost to 1bar, honestly, no point even building the motor. To make 300rwkw on 14psi you'd need a huge laggy turbo which makes it pointless
  3. PCCG have NEVER been cheaper than MSY. There is always $10 extra at least on most items. Rarely have I seen prices the same @ both places. Postage costs whatever it costs, certainly not free. Just create and account and you'll see what stuff costs once you add to your cart, like most online places. The site auto calculates it based on the size, weight, if you want express etc etc. Quite a good functional system. None of the Aussie Distro's are passing on the price saving though. Typical price gouging of the market, it's been that way for a while now. You can actually order stuff out of the US cheaper at the moment if you are willing to wait - and when I say cheaper, you can save a good $50 and that's after postage sometimes on a $300 item. So overall if you ordered a new build from the US, delivered (no case, just smaller parts) I'd be surprised if there isn't a good $300 AUD in it. I've gotta do a few builds soon so I'll be looking into that
  4. kinda hard to tell without a AFR graph whats going on. looks ok though - you mention getting a tune with a FMIC - what ECU?
  5. Nah this was back @ Como Park - the guy was in his 50's mate... I suspect he'd well and truly had his family lol
  6. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Warn-0-t325781.html Please have a read of that. Thanks.
  7. I've never truly believed those online calculators. Rarely are they totally accurate. A lot of things like diff gearing, how many gears you are changing and so on all have effects in various ways, even rim size. I also know of two friends in stock turbo R32 GTR's that have run 11.5 and 11.7 respectively - no idea of MPH - They surely cannot have any more than 270rwkw either way. The 11.5 was driven without one iota of mechanical sympathy (flat changed etc). 11.7 was a bit more forgiving. Just for info sake - with ~210rwkw I was regularly running 110-112mph (2.0 60ft/RWD) @ Calder in my HR31 back when i raced regularly. Car was just over 1400kg without me in it and under half a tank of gas. So would have been 1500kg on race day (roughly, car was never stripped)
  8. Not legal in Vic - there is already a thread coving most of this: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Re...ml&hl=legal
  9. I do believe that car is Victorian if im not mistaken, sounds very similar. I remember the same coloured GTR, older fella - drove past our Show'n'Shine a few years ago and had a bit of a chat
  10. So based labour/time price... You'll spend over $1500-$1700 to get the cams installed and then dialled in? Or you could dial in the cam gears for $440
  11. Please use the For Sale section, and read the rules. Thanks.
  12. Don't take too much material off if you do mate - otherwise you'll weaken even the cast one also I think someone here removed too much and had a factory one fail.
  13. 125mph = 370rwkw+ in a 32GTR??? Friend of mine went 127/350rwkw - R33 GTR. I have around 350rwkw apparently, and @ the strip in a couple weeks. See what MPH it runs but I'm expecting around 127-128 as well
  14. Supra 2JZ graph? Irrelevant for RB26's. How was it non-constructive exactly? We've told him before stocker cams are the way to go with that turbo selection for his use of the car (he does want ultimate response afterall). So in saying that, ultimate response, the stock cams fit that bill perfectly combined with a set of cam gears (which a few have told him before also ) I mean end of the day if he wants, the Poncams will idle fine etc, barely noticeable however costly exercise should it ruin that which he set out to achieve.
  15. How do you expect cams to give you more power? In most situations they will just move the power curve. Without head work etc, IMO its pointless and you certainly don't need to change them
  16. Everyone dyno is "shy" mate, it's the new black. Either way, at that power level 88% duty means there is something wrong. Although - you said they were maxed, yet now its 88%, that is not maxed.
  17. Smells like a trader ad to me. Especially when one of your email addresses is: [email protected] If you wish to trader here, then you are required to become a paying trader like all other businesses. See this thread for further information about becoming a Trader: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Bu...se-t294953.html Thanks.
  18. One would assume so.
  19. Scrutineer etc is no drama, we've got that all covered no drama. It's the morning events we need people to hand-up for. Mini Wang Long Wang Skidpan We need to know prior, as opposed to the "morning of" as we simply cannot rely on that to run an event of this nature. I've volunteered countless times, so have a number of others. If you've never volunteered - but have attended a DECA in the past (and cant run your car), then its only fair really that you come along and share the volunteering.
  20. PCCaseGear for me most of the time. MSY if i need bulk stuff though, prices are better (thats if i CBF'd driving to a store etc) PCCG delivery times though and the fact they have heaps of stuff MSY simply doesn't = win for me.
  21. Find a 2nd hand selling in the For Sale section. Only chance you have really, no one sells them singular off-shelf/new.
  22. lol I'd argue there. It was the only car that didn't require servicing I've ever known of... About 18months, drove it within an inch of its life for around 35,000km's and not once did i spend a cent other than petrol
