  1. Dennis...you are a brave man driving anywhere tyres that you don't trust for a cruise in the wet! Join the club and buy some of the discounted federal 595s, they are good and cheap!
  2. wtf?!? don't even joke
  3. z...entered! super march....entered! race car....entered! stagea/taxi....entered!
  4. thread with entry details is over here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Sh...es-t292951.html
  5. Great news, we are now accepting entries to the 2009 Show and Shine. Details of the show and discussion are over here if you want further information: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/20...ne-t292797.html The last show had over 100 entrants, but the new location, feature cars and sponsor stalls mean this will be much bigger again! While the show is designed to feature skylines, we will be accepting entries for any nissans or show cars that would like to take part - with the demise of Autosalon we expect this to be 2009's biggest import car show. Your car does not need to be special or over the top (although it's very welcome if it is!), what we really want is heaps of examples of the cars we all love, from rough to show quality! How to enter Fill in the attached form (xls or pdf) and either: Option 1: Fax it to 02 8915 1645, and send payment of $10 to: Account Name: Skylines Australia NSW BSB: 082-356 Account Number: 54-639-3766 Remember to add your name as a reference! Option 2: Fill in the form, and send with a cheque or money order for $10 made out to Skylines Australia NSW to: Skylines Australia NSW PO Box 119, Pymble NSW 2073 Option 3: Fill in the form, and hand to a club executive with cash payment of $10 (putty road, thursday cruise, random in the street etc) Come along and celebrate Godzilla's birthday, its going to be huge! Entrants be there from 8am. If you live near by and feel like helping us out we will be there from 6am so come whenever you can. No more cars will be allowed in after 9:45 for prepaid people. Anyone who pays on the day must do so before 9am or you wont be entered. sns_09_entry.xls sns_09_entry.pdf
  6. hmm....none of you clowns are on the entry list for the phillip island race. you guys afraid to drive without someone to tell you where to go?
  7. OK no more lunch deposits thanks! There might be spots at the pub but the people who have paid are guaranteed a seat.
  8. haha watch out Brian, everyone can play the new tyres game good to see the car went well on its first real run.....and that the headlights were pointing in the right general direction
  9. Yeah I entered the race car in standard class for the national sprint at PI. Will change on the day if necessary
  10. auto stagea and s13 silvia should bolt up and have no hicas. but they are not too different to a hicas one in how the toe is handled, and they may introduce issues with track width and other stuff bolting up.
  11. specifically 32 vs 33/34 have different number of lines for the pulley.
  12. you suck eric! please no more deposits for lunch after 6pm tomorrow, we will not receive the payment in time so we can't book for you. of course everyone is still welcome to cruise, it will be a great day (one of the biggest cruises I've seen in years!)
  13. haha good call cass....they are gay enough for Paul
  14. I would be very concerned. Get it towed to the workshop that did the build to check it out. The low pressure light is normally very reliable.
  15. goddamn volvos. I wonder if my strut brace fits over the rb30
  16. yeah quite right too, especially if there is nothing official released. guesses don't help anyone.
  17. Just to close this out....Leon came out and installed the alarm for me, he was very professional and the price was good. Alarm seems to be working perfectly as no-one has stolen the car as yet.
  18. nope, but it is another duncan from on here (LSX-428), in fact he just won the 2009 NSW supersprint champs yesterday. haven't seen the letter though guess I should browse at a newso lol
  19. omg this thing was designed before nissan learned about "curves". clearly from the dr30/bluebird vintage! was sooo funny in the wet the other day. wheelspin all the way through 3rd on boost, with fwd and lsd it just drives straight ahead in the wet, no matter where the steering wheel points
  20. mmmm....stripping..... ice is the bomb. makes the job so farking easy. and real clean too
  21. good to hear, Luke is a good bloke and has done a heap of work on my car over the years
  22. I really like the meridian style harness bars. nice short run between the shoulders and mounting point. with the rear parcel shelf you absolutely must reinforce it, the shelf itself is not strong enough to safely mount a harness (ie it will be less safe than stock belts). and yes Chris I agree the standard rear seat mounting is not right either, its too low. The cams book is quite clear about the "desirable" and "acceptable" angles. the close to 90o the better
  23. ouch. next time post up in members I'm sure someone can lend you a socket! I've got a couple. hope it drives nicer now...have you done a wheel align since?
  24. not a problem. if you are worried carefully sand there with a little wet and dry to make sure there are no sharp projections but how on earth did you do that? what does the back of the cam look like?
