Pity my car didn't put on the show which I expected but still it kept the crowds happy Here's my view on your points: >1. At least twin grandstands for spectators Great idea! We had this all the Melb AutoSalons so far and there still hasn't been enough space. Bigger stands are always great to allow seating room. >2. larger projector or perhaps 2 projectors for the crowd Once again, it was great at MAS that you had projecters on the wall so people could see what was going on. Keep this one! >3. videos or musioc playing between runs to keep people entertained Great idea! As it takes a good 5-10 mins to move cars in and out (I know this personally ) entertaining the crowd between runs is always important to keep them there. The girls who provide entertainment are always appreciated. God bless Sunshine Autobahn!! >4. more prizew and giveaways and perhaps performances betewwn runs to keep entertained Prizes once again keep people sitting there and reduce them from getting bored. >5. allowing pre 1986 cars ( as long as a japanese 4 or 6cyl) to enter the dyno comps ( would allow old school rotors) . Another idea is having a special area for cars to enter the dyno comp that arent really autosalon show style cars and keeping them in an area together....much like the stero cars that enter but not in the main hall as many are dungers with loud steroes ( no offence intended) This will increase the number of entries we get. Don't forget that we need to be able to dyno all King of AutoSalon cars as well as those competing for the trophies themselves. By allowing more cars to enter, it will alllow AutoSalon to be more picky of who runs and who doesn't based on the reasons for the run. Crumby boxes making 60fwkw should only be allowed to run if they are competing in another competition which requires points. >6. Im pushing for twin dynos at Brisbane adn Melbourne with staging lights to have "dyno drags" this went off at Melbourne Semi Final and i think Brisbane has enough big hp cars to support this as well as Melbourne This was a great idea as it doubled the number of cars being run. New awards such as "the biggest crowd pleaser" , loudest car, angriest car etc or things such as dyno operator choice award or award for most surprising car (made more power than we thought) Love this idea!! Great turnout by supporters. Excellent work to the SAU crew who participated and helped out where they could. As Snowey said, Pete and Gemma did awesome jobs all day. The BBQ went without a hitch with the Adz and James at the helm. I also noticed that the BBQ was tended to by SAU peeps all day which goes to show the dedication of the SAU committee and members for a good cause. So Pete, when's the BBQ at yr house mate??

As Nark said Sammy, your definately going for the wrong reasons. This is a problem which the rave scene has these days. People always think that going to a rave is simply an excuse to go and take drugs which I find quite disappointing. Why are people so determined to go to a rave just to do drugs? If you wanna do that, stay at home and do it with your friends. It's safer there with no dogs and police running around. People should learn to have fun at raves without drugs. "Drugs are baaaad, mmmmmmkay" Mmmmmmm, K....

Or letting them sit on yr shoulders like I foolishly did at SummerDayze during Armin Van Burin! It was fun at the time but suffered big time the next day

Whether it be a McRave or the rave of the year, I'll be there. Got my ticket and I'm ready to rock!! Like Wardest said though, it's entirely up to you and what you make of it. I had a ball last year and I intend on doing the same this year!! As long as you avoid the anabolic bulldog looking characters who resemble T-rexes and other unsavoury people, you'll be fine. Stick with yr mates and it will be fun. SummerDayze was fun even though there was a solid case of testosterone out there but I just stuck to my crew and all was well. There are heaps of smaller events going on which are just as much fun if not more than TT but once again, each to their own. I like everything, it's the funding and time which is the problem for me.

If I bought an E46 M3, I wouldn't be mucking around with turbos and the like. The tuning on the M3 is already second to none. I love the power delivery and everything else about the car. The only thing I don't really like about it is the really thick steering wheel. Life is bliss when driving one. Mesh, PM me yr contact details mate.

Mmmmmm, E46 M3. I'll take one over my GTR anyday. Put it this way, they're not slow. They weigh about the same as a 33 GTR and have a 3.2L staight 6 pushing 252kw (7900rpm) and 365nm (4900 rpm). I'd say that they should be able to keep up with a fairly stockish GTR both in a straight line and round a track.

I wouldn't consider this as a stupid question. Believe it or not, there are people who are genuinely interested in learning more about Skylines and other cars. Can you tell the difference b/w a N/A and a TT Supra? Can you tell the difference b/w a series 1, 2 and 3 VX Commowhore? It's the same for people out there who can't tell the difference b/w a R33 GTS and a GTS-T. I have time for people who don't know but I have no time for people who are ignorant.
