I would guess The belt tension was overtightened or if you using one of those gates racing belts if the noise only occured once the belt was replaced

Hi Got my catback exhaust for sale Off my r33 Its a hks priest and 3 1/2 inch system all stainless steel Very quiet but nice tone Good cond besided alil grazes from under the mid muffler Price $350 ono Located syd west

I would say rb20 turbo as it has a smaller rear housing and runs 10psi std so will be more likely to ping on a rb25 no cooler

I know when i had my new splitfires installed The tuner had to recheck the base timing as sometimes it may throw it out and with a power fc or nistune base timing effects the whole range Dont need a full retune just recheck and adjust the base timing back to std

Has the shaft made contact with the housing ? any better pics

2 days min 1 day to fit all the parts and fabricate to suit Maybe even more unless all goes well and no parts are broken or missing a part and then a day to tune

Seems a fair price Tune $1k Turbo install and modding piping and exhaust to suit $1k Already at $2k so fair to say $2-3k is fairly reasonable once injectors afm and ebc are installed

Have you replaced the std rubber intake pipe yet ?

Its worth a shot free and my r33 developed the same symptoms as that and it was the o2 Sometimes floor it nothing othertimes it goes ok but power isnt smooth or linear Got a few basic mods but still a r33s2 there getting old 97 model going on almost 20years old

Try driving it with the o2 sensor dissconeccted If it fixes it the o2 sensor is cactus

I ran et streets on my old 180sx and it was a slingshot Wouldn't even spin 1st gear jumping on the throttle and when you smash gears just chirped This was at 260kw and on street tyres it would spin coming on to boost in second and if you were game would fry thirds if the clutch gripped
