  1. Im not up to scratch on the logging side of things but oil pressure should have sweet f/a effect from engine load unless your sucking air? If im thinking correctly?

Keep in mind oil under huge pressure like anything starts being abrasive, and will chew slowly away at things, i think oil pressure over 120 psi is stupidly high unless your making massive numbers, definately would not run more than whats required on a car that is used on the street. Cue a rant anyone? Sounds like this engine has a blockage, it should be near impossible to get that much pressure at idle, my tomie runs about 35-40 pound at idle, with restrictors and 2.5 thou crank clearance. Hense if for example a tiny bit of crud or filter paper or rubber etc was blocking head feeds or something? Id be looking deeper than the pump.

  6. Did this mod, takes a long long time to do it right. I ran 50 amp wiring and a 70 amp relay (incase i go e85 twin pumps) to my 400L walbro, all works. (it doesnt work if its hooked up backwards and the pump sounds funny.) but hooked up correct polarity and presto. Question, which fuse? im running a 25A atm, is this right?? And will I need a fuel cooler?
  7. When they check your car over, do the pull things appart if they suspect tampering? or a non intrusive inspection? like with cat etc etc?

  10. Hi guys, in my 33 gtst i have a walbro 400L pump, running fine on stock wiring at 338kw (so far) with 22 psi boost is it worth me doing the wire upgrade? like the full thing or just earth wire? Its worrying me a little and will do it if it needs doing...

  12. On the topic of cats, my cars been tuned on no cat, im fitting a 100 cell cat, with a 4 inch body on a 3 inch pipe, will it change the tune much? and for lean or rich? Im getting a retune after just not sure if I should baby it before tune with new cat. Running 338kw on 22 psi. On caltex 98 Any help would be good thanks
  13. Lift doesnt really determine clearance. Nissan designed the valves and seats, do what they suggest
  14. Yep, nissans clearances will be a better guide. and 'close enough' isn't good enough either keep in mind too much it'll slap the valve up and slam it on seat, too little and the valve wont get enough time on the seat to cool.

  19. Start with afm clean, check/replace plugs, check rail pressure, check timing, check fuel filter... just as a start
  20. Id find it hard to believe that oil thats been sitting in your intercooler and piping could get sucked up enough to spit oil out exhaust at idle, I know what you mean though, and very possible theres oil in your intake, but cant see that much getting in? Have you tried starting it again?

  24. So your positive the oil dump line is totally un-blocked? If so, your turbo definately needs a service or replacement
  25. Even if the idlers were/are offset wrong (which they are not) it would not do anything for the belts 'true' running spot. has to come from the base..
