  1. So what could be wrong with it? Aac appears to operate normal cold or hot via ecutalk. Idles and drives perfectly
  2. I thought the aac/iacv are the same thing on the back of the intake manifold? There's a cold start valve under intake manifold?
  3. That's the Aac valve right? I cleaned that once before wasn't really that dirty and cleaned it 2 weeks ago just to double check was still fairly clean. Never mad a differance ?
  4. Anyone still experiencing this shit in 2020 lol Starts then cuts out. Restart runs rough, tap accelerator revs pick up then runs fine.

  6. Noticed my battery earth cable starting to corrode or something, not sure why. See pic What would cause this? I removed the oe cable because it didnt go tight enough around the terminal a few months ago with a cable from supercheap, dont recall the oe cable doing this. Battery's a Optima maybe 2 yrs old, i believe is healthy. Any helps will be appreciated

    @JCup The headlight thing probly isn't a fault, there'll be a switch middle console or on the dash somewhere. Mines near the handbrake, turns headlights off when stopped at traffic lights etc. Some courteous thing they do in japan.

  11. She ran perfect wastegate pressure. So i say b/c is rooted. Thanks you gtsboy! Just to clarify if it were a wastegate issue it would boost to infinity. And if it was a Bov issue it would dump the pressure prematurely?
  12. No worries mate ill give that ago when i get a chance tomorrow. We are starting to lean towards boost controller fault. Boost control solenoid valve not working properly. resulting in running wastegate pressure.
  13. Hello, so I've developed a issue where im only holding 6psi. Boost is controlled via hks-evcs. Cars mostly stock.Nistune,tbe,12psi. Usually if i plant the throttle i hit 12 psi straight away and holds. At the moment it hits 10-12psi visually on the boost gauge but instantly drops to 5.8-6psi. Cars seems to drive fine off boost. Ive gone over the ic piping vac lines all seem ok. Idles fine. If anyone has an idea or could be of some help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  14. rx7's are awesome... but my mate has a pretty decent powered rx7 and the cost to keep this thing going is frightening. Not sure if I'd be game to enter the rotary world lol
  15. They're hardly animals stock.. i think a lot of people have driven both. Given that their both set up properly and similar power i doubt the differance is massive on the fun scale. Ewang scale is different. Can you elaborate on the massive differances from your personal experience? Ce lancers dont make choo choo sounds. You could easily be able to have as much fun in a gtst as a gtr... maybe more being rwd. You cant do that in a fwd ce lancer.

I sort of agree not the 32 part, but ive got a 98 r33 gtst pretty clean. i was thinking if i were to sell it and spend say an extra $20,000-30,000 to buy a good condition R33 gtr would i really be getting anything amazingly extra? Apart from sick internet cred thats guaranteed. Not talking collector car nonsense. For an owner driver, would my experiance be any different on the usual sunday cruise. I would be driving pretty much the same thing and looking at essentially the same dash/interior but it just costs 4x+ the price.? Im not sure ive been thinking a bit about it latley. And maybe is there better options out there for the money. I know a mint gtr with 900hp is sick but that's nots cheap either i heard. I dont know but i reckon they're both good cars. And that 4x the price comes with the same rattles and other annoying issues that come with a car of its age.
  17. R33 skyline/gtr's are great cars maybe not as bad as they're made out to be or maybe they are. But gone are the days of people buying a car for the way it drives or the way it makes them feel. now the only thing mindless sheep worry about is how its perceived on instagram.
  18. Ok maybe It's nothing, there's no bearing movement. Drives normal only thing i can think of is I get an odd click when taking off sometimes was thinking that could be related.   20. Are the shafts easy to remove/replace on the 33? Do you need to undo ball joint and suspension stuff? Or can you just unbolt and manoeuvre them out?

  22. Hello sau, my r33's rear wheels have movement back and forth exactly like in this video. pretty sure its the half shafts outer cv. What do you guys reckon?
  23. They just look like regular mnp s2 gtst no 40th anni gtr wing or 40th front bar. 20k seems a bit rich.
