  1. I want to make braided coolant lines for my turbo im installing and need to get the correct raceworks hose and fitting. Im a little confused there's two types of fitting, ones called Teflon and the others called cutter fittings same with different series of braided hoses? so i don't end up wasting money on stuff that's not going to work im hoping one of you knowledgeable legends can help me out. This is what I've come up with for the coolant line fittings: An-6 hose (not sure what series hose i need) Turbo coolant feed line: 2x metric male m14x1.5 to male flare an6 2x an-6 90 degree hose fitting Turbo coolant return line: 1x metric male m14x1.5 to male flare an6 1x an-6 90 degree hose fitting 1x an6 straight hose fitting 1x an6 flare to 3/8 (an6) barb fitting Hopefully that makes sense Thanks.

  4. Hi, Would someone be able to tell me what is the correct size hose and speedflow fittings i would need to make braided water lines to install atr45sat, water feed line (block to turbo) And water return line (turbo to push fitting on back of block) Thanks.
  5. I would of ran it like the red diagram, not next to the dump pipe. And maybe use some heat proof sleeve over it too.
  6. Yeah mate should be all good. ?
  7. Really? I was under the impression the neo was better. Can you explain why it isn't?
  8. Go buy a brand new wrx sti
  9. Not sure if this is any help r33 interior fuse box. @legazzi
  10. Ok thanks tao, I want to stick with the return flow intercooler for now. Whats different between the g3 and g4 hiflows? How much fabrication is needed between the high flow and the atr45sat to install? I thought just a metal intake pipe? If it will only make around 270kw with return flow do you still recommand the atr45sat?
  11. Ok thanks Tao, what would you expect a atr45sat to make with a return flow cooler? Do you have any pictures of one low mounted on a stock manifold? Also how does the atr45sat compare to the G4 hiflows? Thanks.
  12. It's a blitz returnflow, I know they're not the best. I'd be happy with 280kw but could always change the cooler at a later date.
  13. what turbo would you recommend for a r33 gtst for a responsive 280-300kw street car on p98 fuel. Easy bolt on and still use stock airbox and return flow cooler.
  14. 1. Correct. 2. I'll take note. There is 4 stands under it, the blue 2 are on the subframe. 3. ... 4 .?
  15. DIY: Hicas ball joint removal & replacement / Gktech lock bar install. Job: Replace worn out hicas ball joints, without removing hubs. Fit hicas lock bar. Parts needed: Gktech lock bar 2x Hicas ball joints Tools needed: Jack, Jack stands, WD40, Grease, Impact wrench, Adjustable wrench, Socket set 10-30mm, Circlip pliers, Pliers, Ball joint press kit, 42mm O.D. x 37mm I.D. x 60mm Steel pipe, Pitman arm tool, Angle grinder, Breaker bar, Safety glasses, Hearing protection, Mask. Duration: 3-6hrs. Difficulty: Medium - Easy with the right tools. Step 1: Remove rear seat, remove battery earth and remove suspension. Then carefully jack up the car and use jack stands. Step 2. Spray wd-40 on the bolts, remove split pin and 17mm nut from ball joint/tie rod end. Step 3. Use pitman arm tool or suitable tool to remove tie rod end. Step 4. Crack the tie rods from the hicas unit under the rubber boot, unplug the hicas wiring. Step 5. Remove the 19mm bolts holding the hicas unit to the car and then remove the tie rods. Step 6. Install the tie rods into the gktech lock bar leaving the rubber boots loose. Set that aside for now. BALL JOINT REMOVAL. Step 7. Remove circlip from back of ball joint. Step 8.Cut the ball joint stud to allow more space to remove. Step 9.If you haven't removed suspension do it now.Use the ball joint press tool to press the joint out. Most kits don't come with a small enough size pipe to allow for extraction of the joint, so you will have to find a steel pipe of 42mm O.D. x 37mm I.D. x 60mm. Very common pipe size fits perfectly. Carefully align your press tool with the pipe on the hub. I used 5mm steel plate as a backing plate and then used the correct size socket to sit flush on the back of the ball joint. This will allow you to push the ball joint through the hub towards the rear. Step 10. With the ball joint removed, clean the ball joint housing with wd40 and a rag. Step 11.Apply grease to the joint and housing. Step 12.Use a 30mm socket or similar sized pipe that fits over the rubber boot and sits on the metal rim of the joint to press the new joint in. Align the press tool with the socket and ball joints rim and start to turn the press tool to insert the joint into the hub. Joint installed. Step 13.Reinstall the circlip to the back of the ball joint. Step 14.Cable tie the hicas wiring out of the way. Install the gktech lock bar. Tighten the 19mm bolts. Check the tie rods are tight, then secure the rubber boots. Step 15.Install the tie rod ends and replace the 17mm nut and split pin. Step 16.Reinstall suspension, rear seat and wheels.Remove hicas bulb on the cluster, or cut hicas warning light wire on hicas cu in boot.Get wheel alignment. All Done.
  16. Yeah that's what i suspect. I don't go through tyres quickly so dont want to buy already old tyres.
  17. Yeah totally but local tyre shop bridgestone reoo3 for example $1400-1600 tyresales $$950-1050.
  18. Have any of you brought your tyres off tyresales.com.au? In the market for new tyres and have been sussing them out.
  19. Yeah i've cleaned the throttle body before not really much difference.
  20. Also cleaned the cold start valve last night which was spotless anyway so doubt that'll make a differance.
  21. Yeah man checked tps 0.45 closed. Never tryed the temp sensor because i thought i can see it working correctly in ecutalk but might give it ago.
  22. So what could be wrong with it? Aac appears to operate normal cold or hot via ecutalk. Idles and drives perfectly
