  1. Thanks @Ben C34 Other thing before i go and do it today, should i tick crank enrichment tables? it says for bigger injectors normally you need to lower the value by the % increase in injector size so the car starts without flooding?
  2. Will i need to manually change the injector latency? I think stock rb25det 370cc is 0.53ms @ 14v and bosch 1000cc are 1.2ms @ 14v Do i need to touch this?
  3. Yep it is described in the tuning guide, the above is what I believe I need to do. But it would be nice to double check with someone that has more knowledge on the matter so im not overlooking anything important.
  4. After a little more research, i believe i do NOT tick Adjust TB load scalers and cranking tables. But i do tick adjust TPP min/max limits Does that sound right?
  5. Do i tick - Adjust tb load scalers, Adjust ttp min/max limits and Adjust cranking tables When changing from factory 370cc to 1000cc bosch injectors and will i need to change the latency?
  6. Ok thanks mate, so no need to change them. Just wasn't sure and didn't want to have them snap off or fuse to the stud if they were the wrong ones.
  7. Probably over thinking this but when i installed my turbo i used genuine manifold to turbo studs and was given champion brand steel high tensile 8.8 nuts by the autobarn guy they had some type on gold coating on them. I've noticed the nuts have gone a whiteish colour, I assume thats the coating burning off. My question is, is there anything special about manifold to turbo nuts or should my steel high tensile 8.8 nuts be perfectly fine for a high heat application?
  8. Yeah i dont mind buying the nistune license if it saves not using a tow truck, its about the same cost. It would also be good to be able to idle, bleed coolant and check everything before dropping it off.
  9. If im just rescaling the injectors do i need a afr gauge? It should be fine to drive the 40km to the tuner after doing the injector rescale?
  10. Hi, Im going to be installing 1000cc injectors and don't want to get the car towed to the tuner. The car already has a z32 nistune ecu and i want to rescale the injectors to be able to drive the car. Just wondering what i need to do and buy to rescale injectors in nistune? i watched this @1m:20 m.youtube.com/watch?v=AUrGrBmo9kk is that all i need to do for z32? Will a ecutalk consult cable connect to nistune? Thanks
  11. Yeah well with the torque wrench it would not click and was pushing the studs non threaded part deeper into the head, because the stud is 3mm smaller its not reaching full depth. Does that make sense? Anyway I just did it with a spanner until it starts getting tight.
  12. Thanks hypergear!
  13. Just appeared different probly not.?
  14. I was just following workshop manual it said torque setting 27-31nm. The old stud is 53mm long, new one 50mm, old stud 15mm thread new stud 12.5mm. So you reckon dont worry about torqueing them
  15. Yes the hose is the same one. So block>fitting>union>filter>hose>turbo And does the union need to go a certain way one end is a little longer? Thanks
  16. Im changing exhaust manifold studs at the moment and brought a set from Kudos Motorsport. But they look slightly different. See Pic. Top stud is the old stud removed. Bottom is new stud from kudos. After trying to install the new stud and torque it, it didnt feel like it was stopping at the non threaded part and felt like it was just borrowing in deeper past the middle non threaded part. With the fear of screwing up the threads in the head i stopped. I then reinstall the old stud to check and it went in and stopped at non thread part and torqued up. Is new stud expected to go a bit deeper or should it stop at the non threaded section?? What do you guys think???
  17. Yeah the oil line is fairly long already so with the filter like that seems excessively long. I know i could cut the line and put it between the two lines with new fittings but that would be a huge pain in the ass.
  18. Yeah that's how i would of thought it goes together. But i only have 1 line So somthing like Block>fitting>union>filter>line>turbo I do not know
  19. Thanks dose makes sense, I'll run one. But I'm not to sure how to install it. See pic. There's a filter, female union and a o-ring. ?‍♂️
  20. Is anyone using turbo inline oil filters in 2020? Thoughts? I brought one with my @hypergear turbo but am unsure if i should use it. There's lots of mixed opinions what do you guys think?
  21. All good think im on the right track now.
  22. Thanks man ill keep that in mind about the inlet tube. It looks as good as any mishimoto can. But the more i research the more i have no idea if they are even needed.
  23. Thanks man, that makes a little more sense now. Do those fitting sound about right?
