This is the reason I'm taking creatine, same as beta-alanine:
Vegetarians do not derive beta alanine from their diet. Muscle carnosine concentrations are significantly lower in vegetarians than in muscles of people who consume meat.
I have done research into these supplements and there is a reason why I am taking them. I'm just struggling to find information about cycling on and off these supplements; however due to your comments Troy I will continue to use them 3 times a week.
We're not lovebirds.
I was told to take it 30 minutes before training.
My question which apparently I need to rephrase is: do I need to cycle off the supplements at all or are they safe to consume every time I train? (3x a week)
I've been using beta-alanine/taurine/creatine daily for a few weeks now prior to training. Is this safe to use daily, or should I stop taking it for a month then go back on it? I've tried looking it up and bodybuilding.com said 'a 4-9 week on/off cycle should allow you to consistently reap the performance benefits of beta-alanine' but I don't really understand what that means. I take it for 4 to 9 weeks then I go off it for 4 to 9 weeks?
Yeah it was easy to get, I just went to the RTA and applied for it. Apparently it still has to be approved when I go through the pits next, so may not even pass again...
Yeah, but I got pulled up the other night for driving on a expired defect (was driving back from mechanics and pits was booked for the morning) They followed me to my house and went though my text messages to my mechanic then let me off....
Yeah he got told off for bending one of the Olympic bars and was told the gym wasn't replacing any of the bars for another two years... Yet we got new treadmills 6 months ago
He just signed up for another 18 months and the manager said he will get it all back. I think the thing is he has been going there for years (as I have) and has friends there, plus it's close to home and work for him. But he will change gyms. We are trying to work out who complained because all of us who hang in the weight area are friends, plus this guy comes at the same time every night so it has to be someone who is there from 5.30pm onwards. We're thinking one of the cardio freaks.
Tyres, oil leak, tint and exhaust too loud the first time didn't pass this week and they picked me up on not enough positive rebound in suspension, mod permit for air pod, windscreen and need to put stock seat back in
sigh
One of the guys at our gym (I mentioned in the deadlift thread that he recently deadlifted 300kg) received a phone call from the centre manager today. The manager told him he is not allowed to use chalk anymore and to refrain from 1RM's as they are apparently intimidating some of the other gym users. The manager said to him if he wishes to continue 1RM's to find another gym...
He did a 147.5kg pb on bench tonight
