How about connection up to a consult cable and reading any fault codes... My auto 32 did this cutout thing not long ago, I managed to limp home and the only fault code was 12: air flow meter Followed the tutorial and re-soldered the pins and hey presto, not more engine cutting out.

Nothing wrong with the stock nissan filters, you just do not over tighten them in the first place.

My R32gtst has height and reach adjustment, so I assume the gtr does also.

Does anyone know R32 gtr and gtst compressors are interchangeable? My system in my gtst used to work but now the compressor is making a rattle sound when first started but soon goes back to normal sound after warmed up. However the coldness is not what it should be and I also discovered oil leaking from the back of the compressor. So I would assume the compressor needs rebuilding or I could try a second hand item, and here in lie the problem, there seems to be plenty of gtr compressors around but few gtst type. Oh rebuilding costs about $600 so I would probably try a second hand unit first. Cheers, Mike.

Don't know if this one I pulled out of my r32gtst is oem but it's definitely a paper filter inside. ...the brown stuff is rust, after my fuel pump died I discovered the large o-ring seal at the top of the sender unit must have been installed incorrectly, as it had a kink and squished flat spot, it appears to have been like that from new. Yes the rust was from the fuel tank and you should have seen the pile I removed from the tank, no wonder the pump failed.
