  1. Could be something to do with the cambelt.
  2. Have seen one flick a shim out, suspect valve float as above, head was damaged.
  3. People usually just cut the diff off the 4wd sump & grind down the fins on the bottom where it sits over the x member so fits with the 4wd sump
  4. WMDC35

    C35

  5. Can creep/spike quickly so leans out & dets causing the knock & will do it worse with load in higher gears & uphill etc, hard to judge whether the power is low for the boost etc as don't really know the turbo specs With different turbos just think a better or bigger turbo will push a lot more volume of air at the same pressure
  6. Does it have a bit of boost creep? Could be why it's worse loaded up hill etc, maybe the wastegate needs a bit of porting or a better actuator like a turbosmart iwg75, always best to tune on the gas you're usually going to run
  7. What other boost control other than the boost tee?
  8. Maybe you didn't get the replies you were looking for but you got the replies you needed
  9. Same as the other de mods, even the exhaust does jack all & they sound horrific 350ish kw plus t setup, /\ nos isn't a bad idea although the trans will probably disagree both of these plans
  10. Haven't really seen any but can't see them making a bad one
  11. I'd be going with one of the other two you mentioned
  12. Maybe better off to look for a good stocker?
  13. Agreed, bin it
  14. The 20s in the A31 & C33 had no BOV for some reason Edit- woops as it says above!
  15. No DIN is not the standard in NZ, Don't know why sometimes the ST Hitec results are done that way
  16. Just saying the OP may be looking at e85 results and expecting similar, yes our dyno's are powered by sheep & fush & chups oil
  17. /\, the PT in that range should leave the most $ available for food
  18. Unfortunately the Nistune isn't used much in Auckland, at least Soichi has had a go & got the car running not too bad. The auto will always read lower, also all the E results on SAU will usually be higher than ours
  19. Doesn't look too bad for auto, did Soichi make any comments?, good luck getting hold of Andy!, it's only on 98?, as Bob says would be good to compare to std cams
  20. Should be fine, just go for similar rolling diameter, 245 should be fine with the right offset, prob around 35ish depending on wheel width
  21. I'm over 300 with BCs, with nismo diff it's not too bad, unless it's bumpy, then it's not so good
  22. skyline did win , they definitely need a decent diff!
