  1. Which ever style of these cars you prefer are both good choices. If you haven't had an evo or similar before you should try one out. You'll find that the evo is quick around town etc but there's a lot of very quick evos & gtrs that are quicker Breasts is an easier choice for sure! Seems like it's been on your mind a while? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/365045-r34gtt-vs-evo78/ Give one a go, or wind the 34 up to 350ish
  2. They're both awesome!
  3. /\ quite often a decent skyline will eventually pass or pull away if it's a straight line & you reach a high enough speed, which usually doesn't happen on the road
  4. As above really, the Skylines are good fun with 300+kw, evos are awesome too You'll get bored at some point of whichever you have so if you've never had an evo or similar you should try it out You're more likely to get done for a high speed infringement in the evo but maybe more likely to get done for sustained loss of traction or careless use with a skyline which about sums it up? Edit: the sustained loss of traction is from traction issues, not trying to bake it as such
  5. Should've run with the clutch kicking!
  6. it'll go on, just need to make an adaptor plate for the AAC
  7. 33 25 & neo both in good condition produce a very similar result & ringlands very similar also, not saying neo isn't the pick given the choice but it's a load of crap how much better people say it is
  8. As above really, the Nistune will do the job but if $ to spare go for a G4 or whatever your tuner prefers
  9. Closer than me, sprung an oil leak last dyno day, stopped at 365 due to starting to make too much of a mess Might have to go again, still on 98e10 but should be able to wind some more out of it
  10. It seems they are lasting too long? Maybe 400 is the new 300?
  11. Most tuners round these ways will tune it based on the info given, if there's unknowns they'll usually recommend on the cautious side, but will push it if requested & the waiver is signed
  12. I find 1 T67 on a 2.5 isn't bad at all, will also be trying it on 3l once the 25 is dead.
  13. +1 Sinco Customs, definitely comparable to the 6 Boost, have seen both
  14. I know someone that has not run them for years, heaps of skids etc, no probs, definitely wouldn't recommend it though, also this guy has no power
  15. and was some talk here about using 25 vct parts, I think elite racing/the dan was doing something if you want to read through http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/251820-got-over-400kw-atw/page-51
  16. sounds like it, how does it feel with the less mid range?
  17. As people say the mixing is a hassle, you should be able to make around 300ish on e85 with those injectors which is about where the turbo should be, maybe a reg just in case
  18. Could still be the afm even though it's been cleaned, try starting it with it unplugged- plugs could still be wet though
  19. or could've let the boost ramp up higher until it was leaking down to the desired pressure
  20. And what kind of Laurel? R32 rad will fit C33
  21. different models have different mounts on the rad, which model is the rad from & what is the 25 in?
  22. Took about 5 business days to NZ too
