comparing the de's, I've had cars with r33 type 25de and 25de neo at the same time, driving them back to back for a while seemed to be nothing really in it between them for power or economy
not in vic area, but when car was 300kw it made 4kw less going from a dyno dynamics to a dynapack setup on sae, also looked lazy in the mid range on the dynapack
no neos run the alloy type 33 CAS,(some late 33s had the plastic cap neo type) i have done a neo de swap because it was lying around using early ecu, ran perfectly, not saying it's ideal but does work, and not worth it unless your car is dead & you've got a free neo
if the std throttle body doesn't clear the 80mm probably won't either, have seen a few converted cars with the throttle body on sideways so the cable pulley was on the top
just chuck the yoke on the front of the 32 shaft, seems to work out to be the about right length, you don't quite want it to 'butt up' but closer to the first pic than the second
