  1. Alright no worries. Was thinking of doing the crossover pipe and hot side of intercooler pipes for now as Im thinking of upgrading turbo and manifold later on so may leave them for now (or maybe do them anyway)
  2. Hey John, Do you mean something like this? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Skyline-93-98-Seatbelt-Seat-Belt-Harness-Bar-Black-/330563706118?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4cf721dd06&vxp=mtr http://www.ebay.com/itm/1993-1998-Nissan-Skyline-R33-Cipher-Racing-Silver-Coat-Universal-Harness-Bar-48-/141348893149?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item20e90cf1dd&vxp=mtr Any mods etc needed to install? 3. Alright thanks mate. Whats the reason for soaking it in water before fitting?
  4. Nah, ebay and I have beef ahahahahhaha
  5. Will try those guys cheers. Now that were on topic, some people say you should mist/wet it before wrapping pipes etc, is this the way to go? Sounds odd to me and it may rust the pipes. Thoughts?
  6. Hey guys, Anyone aware of any places in perth that sell exhaust wrap. Yes I had a look in google and found a place in bibra lake and revolution race gear. Anyone aware of any other places? Cheers Amir
  7. Hey guys I am buying a CC (greddy style/D1 etc - the square shaped ones) and I want to mount it like Hamish did (http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/129549-oil-catch-can-mounting-and-roughting/page-2?hl=+oil). I will baffle it by putting stainless steel inside. I have 2 questions 1. does it matter where the stainless steel wool/stuff is placed inside the CC? 2. does the hose from the rocker cover have to go to a specific port/hose barb etc on the CC? Thanks in advance guys Amir http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/129549-oil-catch-can-mounting-and-roughting/page-2?hl=+oil

  9. Nice work Peter, its coming along. Just saw this thread. Always had a soft spot for the DR30. Will be following your progress. All the best Amir
  10. Alright thanks for the advice Matt I appreciate it. Will do some more searching and hopefuly find a suitable seat and rails. Have you (or anyone else) used the seats NZKW sell? Thinking of getting something off those guys and Vincent from NZKW said he can supply rails that will bolt straight into the R33. Amir
  11. Oh my, your killing me mate ahahahahah. Very nice. Have you been driving it much? Any dramas or is it running as smooth as it looks? Amir
  12. Oh I see mate cheers. Where did you buy the off the shelf rails? I think this will be the way to go as I dont want to much around with the existing rails too much. Does one brand of rails usually suit other brands and seats or are they very specific in that sense? Cheers for the help mate, if you could guide me who sells off the shelf rails that would be great. Amir
  13. Cheers Matt, So how do I modify the existing rails exactly? And what did you mean by "Circa 2008-2009" (googled it see if I find anything but I didnt). How much did the Sparco Sprint V cost you if you dont mind me asking and how long ago did you purchase it? Any chance of posting up some photos of your setup? Appreciate the help Cheers
  14. Hey all, Went through the threads on here about race seats but still dont have a clear answer. I want to install a driver's fixed back race seat in my R33 (Cobra, OMP, or whatever other brand that will do the job). I am still unsure on how to fit them and Im finding the info re rails etc very confusing. I spoke to Brett from Revolution Race Gear and he said this: is the car road registered or just a track car? What you can do is run two bars of flat (say 3mm) across the existing rails and then base mount the seat (Monaco Pro) to that. If it is a track car only then you can have a sub frame welded in and then mount side mounts to that then side mount the seat. Now my car is still registered but is being set up for track. I would like to keep it registered. 1. Can anyone explain to me what Brett meant? 2. Can anyone provide advice/tutorial etc on how to mount the fixed back seat into my R33? Cheers in advance all Amir
  15. Very nice mate hope all goes well with it. Will be following the updates Amir
  16. I'm with the majority on this one Amir
  17. Coming along well mate. That's a negative on the purple for me mate. Amir
  18. Small progress over the last couple of days. Stripped out more sound deadening and its pretty much all gone. A few patches left of the black stuff but I think I'll get a heat gun and melt and scrape it off next weekend. Today I mounted the fire extinguisher and my brother in law fitted the new HEL braided brake lines, bled the system and filled with motul RBF600. Brakes still a little spongy and will be bled again next week. Also removed the shi* slippery pedals the previous owner had on. Amir
  19. Oh You don't say!
  20. So if I have hicas lock bar I would go for non-hicas yeah? And they are car specific rather than steering wheel specific?
  21. Still confused here Guys. Want to do the WP soon and the car is basically for track. The odd weekend drive but thats about it. So the question is, is there and N1 pump that will fit a Series II r33 rb25det? Cheers in advance Amir
  22. Recently got a set of Yokohama AD08R 235/40 on my R33. The car will be used mainly on track but occasionally on the orad also which is why I opted for them before getting R Compe tires. So far, on the road, they are quite grippy and not very noisy. Will update once I take it to the track Amir
  23. I guess we all assmued he knew what a CC is for. But by all means feel free to ask
