Car looks nice, as for them skirts.... personally I think it would look better if you got a set of type-m skirts from a gts-t and modified them to fit and do the same with the rear pods. I've seen it done before suits car well I have seen no aftermarket kits that suit as well.

Thats pretty gtst :(

My efforts pale into insignificance.

I kept the povo spec gtst front bar with optional "flaking" chrome trim when the rest of the front end is gtr just so people know it's not a gtr. :P

particularly important when closing the gap on 32 gtr's at the track....

haha +1 for flaking chrome lip, took me ages to find one in decent quality haha

Ive always wondered what went through Nissan's mind in regards to the front electric spoiler..does it really do anything? lol

my 110mm thick ARC SMIC makes up for the lack of fmic ^^,

car look good as usual mate,

for those side skirts, i think it look good on ur car mate, as long as they look straight down, nothing like URAS type which flare/bend out alot.

anyway, all up to u

Cheers

thanks champ the reason ive chosen these is cos they go straight down ay.Not cheap custom made $500 not cool on the wallet ay?

It depends on the angle you look at it from :)

I've flared the rears and have matching wheels all round now so it looks a lot more in proportion than it did at the time of the first photo. I'm still considering wide rear guards atm

please excuse the filth in this photo. It's seen a skidpan and a wet track day since it's last wash. And it's been raised

abu, the guards bolt on, the bonnet latch and support needs changing for the bonnet swap and you need gtr indicators. The front bar doesn't quite fit right either.

It looks liek it looks good, I have considered it time and time again but always thought it would look a bit silly, appears i was wrong :D

Is that pic at Unigroup? LOL, how are the guys all going? I went to Uni with them all back in the day. :)

Should put the $500 towards other stuff..

Sideskirts look good but its pretty hard to improve on standard GTR!

ooo carbon fibre..i like.

how much you pay for that and where from? pm me if you like.

Very nice man, carbon fibre is a good look

Thanks guys. Some really good looking lines out there. Variety is the way!!

Apparently it's a garage saurus lip. I bought it second hand off these forums, private sale. It was posted for sale so I was lucky I got it.

hi,

beaut car, my favourite colour too. it looks like a well preserved example, what year, and how many Ks has it done?. I'd leave the skirts as standard; the beauty in the GTR-r32 for me, is that understated, tough looking [businesslike], and muscled design. I rekon extra body work spoils this. anyway, the car has to please you first.

thanks for the pics

regards

    • Yes the gear for the R33/34 is different, it is red and has a different number of teeth. My part didn't come with that gear though, so I don't know how many teeth are on the red one. You'd have to reuse the 260RS/R33 gear, as long as it's not destroyed.   Haha, as unfortunate as that might be it was working fine for about the first 1500km I've had the car for now.
    • Update all   thanks to the workshop manual, it lead me back to checking fuses as mentioned central locking and door open lights worked when acc was switched on. diagram attached shows two points of power 1. ACC and 2.  Batt with the later being fused (#28) I did check the fuses using a multimeter but I must have stuffed that up also. Went back and checked the batt fuse in interior fuse box and you wouldn’t believe it… a blown fuse. replaced fuse and everything is now working as it should including the climate control   thank you all with your positive insight and knowledge.
    • Where is the warning "That this thread is super old"   I just went into a 5 year old thread, went to do a reply, and couldn't see anywhere obvious a warning of it being super old
    • Duncan is correct. Pitwork (and Toyota's own cheap brand "Drive Joy") were primarily created as brands to sell other manufacturers car parts. It would be weird if Nissan sold parts for Toyota vehicles with a Nissan logo on it, so they created Pitwork to sell parts for other brans Toyota, Honda etc. They are not the same as Nissan genuine parts, although they *do* meet Nissan's standards for replacement parts. They aren't supposed to be a substitute for genuine parts, but a cheaper alternative that is better than Ebay fake parts from you-know-where.
