Marko R1
You can afford to raise the height of the car, easy fix for clearance She drives really well thanks Bobby. There's a li'l bit of scrubbing on the front tyres, so I'm thinking of lower profile or rolling the guards (which I've been told not to). I think we might meet at some stage time/commitment permitting. Again, thanks to all of you guys for support - the more warped it is, my humour appreciates it. Marko R1
18X10+20 with 265s right? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/119761-r32-pix-only/page/254/#findComment-7437775 Share on other sites
GTR-N1
Tyres are 255/40, so I can go for 255/35 ok? Yes Marko, those wheel specs are correct. Scrubbing is fairly slight over bumps and scraping is at the shoulder of the tread. Sinista32
I run the 255/35 on the front. Mine are rolled. Honestly Terry I'd have the front slightly rolled. If it's the original paint and guard warmed before rolling there will be no paint flake. (Resprayed guards and doing them cold will cause that crack and flake to happen) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/119761-r32-pix-only/page/254/#findComment-7437875 Share on other sites

GTR-N1
Thanks for your input to Mick. So it looks like... 1) tyre change to 35 profile 2) source progressive springs to suit Bilsteins > raise car 3) yet to be considered > guard rolling 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/119761-r32-pix-only/page/254/#findComment-7438925 Share on other sites

GTR-N1
Clicked over 50,000Kms today. Even as a kid, I used to love things that glow in the dark. One of the things I'd purchased before receiving the car, thinking, "What do I need a glovebox for anyway?" Not sure if I'll be looking over to the left that much though... 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/119761-r32-pix-only/page/254/#findComment-7443927 Share on other sites
Sinista32
Terry, have you found R32GTRs are 'raw' in comparison to the later models? now owning and driving you can compare. I like it that way, Its an accumulated appreciation for drivers. 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/119761-r32-pix-only/page/254/#findComment-7443932 Share on other sites
GTR-N1
The rack Richard makes it (the R32) feel heavier than what it is. Or the corollary: the R34's rack makes it feel lighter than what it is. Yes I like its 'rawness' a great deal. The R33 (which was my first GT-R) had a bit more oversteer which I actually liked. I'm glad that I have upgraded the brakes, rotors, brake lines and castor rods on this R32. Very well behaved. This is my 5th GT-R. The 35 profile tyres have now eliminated scrubbing (compared to 40) Thanks for asking Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/119761-r32-pix-only/page/254/#findComment-7443938 Share on other sites

GTR-N1
Yes Anthony. Not sure whether it should be fixed or left taped off. Security install today and they also do air cond. I think I'll ask them to test it. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/119761-r32-pix-only/page/254/#findComment-7443967 Share on other sites
