You're in the list, justin911

Thank's predator, first post updated. I checked with DBA catalogue, R32/R33/R34 GTSt all used part no 908 so they're all same.

marz13, as I said it's my estimate but I could be wrong. I am basing my estimate from the price I was given for front R33 slot and rear. But those ones are R33 gtst prices. For R32 GTR which uses 324mm it may be a lot higher. However for comparison, a mate of mine got his front slot R33 gtst rotor for $310 a pair, while I am offered $275 plus GST (or about $302.5 incl GST) for fronts. This does not include group buy discount, so if 20-25% less a pair of front R33 gtst is between $226 to $242 a pair.

r33 gts-t = 296mm, Z32/r32 gts-t = 280mm - Fronts

rears are the same.

I'm keen on a set of 280mm slotted/dimpled depending on the price.

I'll put you in as well fly510

put me down for a pair of front slotted rotors for r33 gtst. but it does depend when the gb closes... its looking good so far... if it starts to look like more than a fortnight from now i may get some rears too...

Freddy Krugger, list updated.

GB is looking good. The guy at RDA told me that since they have branch in every city, they may organise to drop off the discs to their branches so ppl outside Melbourne can pickup at their nearest city. Otherwise he hasn't told me yet the exact price but for a local delivery should be reasonably cheap. I had my set bought on ebay shipped for $15~30 from memory, and that was from NSW to VIC.

Dezz, the prices so far I had is on the 1st post, just reduce by 20~25% off to get the group buy price. Hard to get exact at the moment as I am still opening this EOI list until end of the week to get the maximum qty possible, then we'll see how much RDA is willing to give discounts. I had asked him a few questions about all the prices but so far he hasn't given me a full RRP list yet.

2face - you're in

Shane, I'm sure no probs as it's in the Nissan-D.xls list in the first post. Under S series 200SX, S15, part no 909 is the same for S14

Just this week I began hearing the familiar and dreaded sound of worn pads. Bastard thing wants MORE money.....it's worse than having a teenage kid!! ;o))

Depending on when the group buy ends, you could put me down for a set of slotted fronts (possibly slotted rears as well). Will be getting the disc runouts checked tomorrow.

Cheers,

Mike

Hi,

Can u change my order to just slotted rotors front and rear for R32 GTR,

Thanks

prelude :

no problem

r33fourdoor :

i'll put you in as 1 pair fronts.

i'm leaving this eoi thread til saturday/sunday then i'll bring the approximate numbers to RDA and see if we can get the 25%off or even better but I doubt so, 25% pretty darn good already. then i'll start to finalise orders the following week and organise payments and logistics, as well as allowing more ppl to jump onto the bandwagon.

Can you pm me the expected pricing for front and rear slotted rotors for HCR32 please.

Blitz, std slotted price are on first post of this thread. Most likely R32 also uses the same dimension with R33 so it'll be about $300 for the front pairs and $190 for the rear. Add this up $490 for a set of 4, minus 20-25% discount you can expect roughly in the range of $370-390.

There's a Nissan D.xls spreadsheet on first post, you can have a look if your dimension is the same with R33, then that price on 1st post will be spot on.

    • You just need to remove the compressor housing, not the entire turbo. I would not be drilling and tapping anything with the housing still on anyways.
    • So, I put my boat on a boat. First of all, I'm going to come out and say it. Why is Tasmania not considered a holy goal, an apex that all road-legal modified cars go to, to experience? This place is an absolute wonderland of titanic proportions. If people are already getting club runs for once in a lifetime 30 person cruises to Tassy then I've never seemed to see it. It is like someone replaced the entire place with an idyllic wonderland for cars, and all of the people living there with paid actors who are kind, humble, and friendly. Dear god. After doing a lap of almost all of the place I've found that it's a great way to find out all of the little things that the car isn't doing quite right and a great way to figure it all out. All in all, I drove for 4 hours a day for a week and nothing broke. I didn't even need to open the engine bay. This is by all means a great success, but it has left me with a list of things to potentially address. I also now have a 3D printed wheel fitment tool which annoyingly hasn't got any threads in it to actually assemble it. I might be able to tape it together to check the sizing I actually want to use, but it'll likely involving pulling the shocks out to properly measure travel at least at the front, and probably raise the car while I'm at it, at least in the rear. I scraped on quite a few things and I'm not sure how else to go about it. I was taking anything with a bump at what felt like 89 degree angles. And address those 10 other tasks. And wash the car. God damn it is dirty. And somehow, the weather was perfect the entire time - And because I was on the top of Mt Wellington it turns out it was very much about to freeze up there. I did something I typically never do and took some photos up there in what must have been -10 and the foggy felt like suspended ice, rather than mere fog. If you own a car in Australia, you owe it to yourself to do it.
    • Damn that was hilarious, and a bit embarrassing for skylines in general 😂 vintage car life ey. That R33 really stomped. Pretty entertaining stuff
    • Hi, I have a r32 gtr transmission. Does any of you guys have an idea how much power it will hold with the billet center plate and stock gearset? At what power level and use did yours brake with or without billet plate? Thanks, Oystein Lovik
    • Saw this replica police car based on a Mitsubishi Starion XX parked next to a 'police box' (it's literally a box) in Hirohata, Himeji City in Hyogo prefecture the other day. It's owned by Morii-san who is a local Mitsubishi Starion enthusiast. According to a local radio station blog post, he always wanted to make a police car himself based on ones he saw in his favourite Manga comics.  As it's illegal to modify a car to look like a police car and drive on the road, Morii-san tried many times to get permission from Aboshi police station headquarters nearby. They refused initially by after they got tired of that they granted him permission. However, the car can only be displayed on private property and obviously can't be registered as long as the police livery is present. The car was completed at a cost of 1.5 million yen (US$ 10,000) in addition to the car cost. A location was chosen outside Hirohata Police box where the car can easily been seen from the street. Morii-san has two other Starion road cars, both widebody GSR-VRs.
