Ur options as far as Nissan boxes go are: Re4r01a (gtst box) Re4r03a (300zx box stronger then 01a) 3 speed jatco (strongest of all the "Nissan" boxes) Other boxes (although more then likely overkill) Th400 C4 Powerglide (do not use a glide for a street car) Research is half the fun with autos get googling Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/131489-the-automatic-performance-thread/page/19/#findComment-6668898 Share on other sites

Both are daily driven. Not sure if there's any info on SAU, but could be worth a look. WHITER33GTS-T
I have a B@M cooler with a thermo fan on my stagea in the guard, i also have another davies craig trans cooler behind the intercooler that it goes through first, then goes to b@M, then returns to trans cheers darren What trans temp does it run at...? I am using a 30row engine oil cooler for mine. Trans temp hasnt gone above 60degrees while having some spirited driving. scotty nm35
Where's your sensor mounted Rob? I have a 30 row on my trans also, I still see 80+ coming out of the converter, before the cooler. Obviously after the cooler is much lower. I wonder how much difference there is compared to at the the sump?
