well Super GT (GT 500 class) are claimed to be the quickest GT cars in the world... "The mines GTR" is based on a modified street car and retains rego and a majority of standard body parts. a GT car is a 100% race car. This years GT500 class NSX are running turbos now too...

yeah, understand that. Just didnt realise how quick they actually were. I mean the Mines GTR is no slouch, it's a fckn quick car, but damn, those gt500 cars are insane

Race spec brake pads sometimes squeal because of the composition of them..its normal

I'm not sure what you mean by race spec brake pads, but the pads i run and others i track day with don't squeal like that when under heavy braking, under light braking yeah for sure... but when stomping on the brakes you don't normally give them a chance to squeel... i'm probably wrong tho

my carbon/ceramic composite pads squeal like a bitch, cold/hot hard track braking/soft street braking doesn't matter. it sounds like a train.

other race type pads I have had didn't do it, but these particular ones do. when up to temp though they still pull up nicely.

NSX does quite well, but it also has 50kg extra ballast compared to the rest as it is an MR. This years NSXs went back to 3.5L NA engines instead of 3L twin turbos though, or maybe they changed during the year or something, eitherway, they are running the NA engine now instead of the turbo. Seems like an odd choice...

A video of a JGTC NSX vs a Road Car?

How about they compare the last JGTC GTR running a VQ VS the JGTC NSX?

I'd like to see some holden and ford V8 supercars there as well showing their weight transfer

on the corner s :(

That would be an interesting race...

The footage is of Hot Version International 01 DVD; SPECIAL RUN IN TSUKUBA for Keiichi ‘Drift King’ Tsuchiya bids farewell to his professional racing career. He was trying to set an all time lap record in his ARTA NSX GT500.

    • Hey guys I have a 2001 Nissan stagea vq25det, I don't have any engine lights and not really any issues running but I was curious to see if I could use my obd II scanner to find anything that was hidden and I plugged my scanner in and it just said "Low voltage cannot scan" does anyone know how to fix this or what this could be?
    • Sadly we have something in common, our Skyline's like blowing up electrically 😢
    • So, no videos, but, the FAB9 Elite manifold and 68mm Bosch throttle bodies are in stock, but, not the rear part of the air box The FAB9 rear airbox thingie is made with a 3" intake pipe, to suit the 3" intake pipe size of a 68mm throttle body  When they get some more in stock is currently unknown as I'm waiting for FAB9 to reply with a ETA on resupply, my assumption is they outsource their plastic printing stuff to "china", and with the current "tariff war" going on in 'Merica it could be on hold for an undisclosed time Should I pull the pin on the Intake and throttle body, and wait for the airbox?????, that's what I'm thinking... 1. Would the standard 2.75" OEM intake on the air box really be that much of a restriction compared to the 3" naturally aspirated?????? 2. If I don't get the 3" FAB9 airbox fitted at the same time as the intake and throttle body will it need a retune, when/if it eventually turns up?????? As I'm impulsive, to a fault, decisions will be made within....."what's the time now"???....let's say 12 hours......LOL
    • yeah its just so expensive nowadays and its easy to lose motivation very quickly when you start adding up the costs. I acquired the car from a collector in Melbourne and was lucky to get the opportunity to buy something already completed.  I looked at a proper resto and your paying over 300-400K for a proper one (nut and bolt) so this one to me seemed like a much better option! Car is in private storage and for serious buyers, welcome to come see it/drive it in person (photos don't do it justice).
