uk front bar???

if your talking about the r33 then its just the vents that come with the nismo oil cooler

You get those "add on's" with the cooler kit? Its $2000. Bit steep for a cooler and a few bits of plastic. :(

i think he means coz it was standard on the uk delivered cars no?

Exactly.

Perfect fucntion yet looking standard. Uhuh!

yep, u need sum way of getting enough air to the oil cooler when its put behind the front bar.

You should know that when ever the word nismo is mentioned in the product that its not going to be cheap.

Im actually supprised that no one has made a replica copy of them as im sure there would be a market for them

I put my oil cooler on the drivers side front bar and just used border carbon ducts as they allow enough air with bigger openings.

If they did come standard on uk model cars well then lucky them

Does anyone know the story behind this thing? Is it genuine? Saw it at the Showcased event and it looked pretty damn good as far as I could tell.

The only thing that caught my eye was that it seemed to have a series 1 rear Nissan badge (old Nissan logo) but had a V.spec II badge which AFAIK = series II. Plus it has a V.spec II bonnet.

not sure whether its a v-sepc or not.

it came up in conversation here with Kristian (Iron Chef) when discussing S-tunes and R-tunes

maybe it was built to V-spec spec when it went to Omori.

After seeing the car in person and speaking with the owner. We both take our cars to chasers. Yes it is real!

Yep, it's a real Nismo S-Tune.

I'm actually not sure if that is a real S-tune. I know it has the S-tune engine (I think) but I took a photo of this car back when it first arrived. as white lmgt4's, and no sticers on it :S

And yes, it was claimed to be the S-tune.

I will check my pics again, but I remember a Nismo Build Plate in the engine bay.

just came across this s-tune by total coincidence!

^^ Great R34 GTR but would prefer other type of wheels.

Not too sure why it has a "fukuoka Factory" sticker on the air intake when clearly the engine build plate says Omori Factory.

And looks to be the car now has a Nismo Intercooler and Black LMGT4's.

    • Yea - I mean I've seen my fuel pump which is decades old and uh, while I'm not saying this with real knowledge... but I sure get the ick at using anything in the fuel system that produced the state of that pump. Many years ago I went through multiple pumps (and strainers) before I dropped the tank to clean it out with extreme violence. I'm talking the car would do maybe 50km before coming to a halt, which resulted in me cleaning out the filter with some brake cleaner and going on my way. None of my stuff ever looked like what came out of your fuel tank. I don't think I'd be happy with it unless every single component was replaced (or at least checked/cleaned/confirmed to be clean here).
    • I'm not going to recommend an EBC pad. I don't like them. Just about anything else would suit me better. I've been using Intima pads for a while now.
    • Agreed, and in particular the earth strap that should go from the subframe to the chassis but it often broken or left off. There is a section in the R32 workshop manual you can follow for troubleshooting if you don't see anything suspicious, and depending where you are (there is no location on your user profile) you should be able to get your hands on a second hand replacement unit still if needed
    • Yeah they mention as a R34 for 2.5 Turbo...but then again thos "small" were also for R34 by that different site. But i look into it and that 310mm EBC is for R34 GTT. And by those you linked the specs are the same 🙂    EDIT: I found these on one site here: DBA 4000 series T3 DBA42304S They are 310mm...and it says are for R34GTT...are there good? EDIT2: ok they have pads too.  What "color" should i get for street use? I dont want/need some noisy ones...(and if they are not that dusty that is good too)
    • Yeah, shame. Maybe  driver's carpet is available 🙏. I am waiting for both amayama and nangun to confirm.
