18th post in this thread.

also. if you click on the number of the post, it no longer gives you a direct link to that post..

cheers

Thanks Sl!m, will add them to the list. the thumbnails issues will proly be fixed tonight at least.

Issues I'm experiencing:

(searched through, couldnt find them on the list)

* clicking the "quote" button returns me to the top of the page instead of grabbing the quote

* clicking "forum options" takes me to the bottom of the forum section that the button resides within

* Unable to view profiles

Unrelated, but maybe still of interest if you want to keep a link to the wiki in the forum,

All wiki admins lost their access some months ago, and nobody has been able to add/edit anything (amongst other outstanding issues)

Yep I have -3 messages...

Also I cant seem to quote people Christian...

I click on quote and then it just takes me back to the top of the page... Weird...

I had -48 yesterday now down to -30.

I am missing a few unread pm's that i received just prior to the forum change though but not a problem, I receive enough ;)

Those of you getting strange issues when clicking Options or Quote, can you tell me what browser you're using.

Firefox 2.0.0.2

When trying to quote using the quote button it just redirects you to the top of the page.

The delete post option using the button also does nothing.

In PM's you are also only allowed 10 sets of closed quotes in the one PM i think and it does not allow more.

im also using ff 2.0.0.2 and cant use the quote button and cant see other's profiles either

also, i was thinking (never a good thing) now would be the perfect time to fix this dude ---->

oh btw that was -1. we shouldnt look like their forum. we drive cooler cars ;)

The options drop down is working on my Internet Explorer, but not on Firefox 2.0.0.2 nor the previous 1.5? at work??? Also on firefox I can't edit my profile without putting in a birthday.....once I put one in I can edit...try and remove it and it won't let me out till I put it back in.

And yeah I have lost my NSW members bar and donation bar but can still access the members area as Lanky71 mentioned earlier.

Also my messages keep changing... is -4 now but go out of the forum completely and come back in and its 0 again until I go actually go in somewhere and then the -4 comes back??

firefox 2.0.0.1 (BonEcho build - mac os optimized version)

cant quote, goes to top of page

cant view profiles from a thread, although can view from like top 20 posters today, and after searching for a user

Is anyone else having issues with the "Remember Me" option in the logon? I keep clicking it, yet everytime I reboot my pc or change PC's, (home and work), I have to logon the first time I visit SAu after the boot?

    • This is how I last did this when I had a master cylinder fail and introduce air. Bleed before first stage, go oh shit through first stage, bleed at end of first stage, go oh shit through second stage, bleed at end of second stage, go oh shit through third stage, bleed at end of third stage, go oh shit through fourth stage, bleed at lunch, go oh shit through fifth stage, bleed at end of fifth stage, go oh shit through sixth stage....you get the idea. It did come good in the end. My Topdon scan tool can bleed the HY51 and V37, but it doesn't have a consult connector and I don't have an R34 to check that on. I think finding a tool in an Australian workshop other than Nissan that can bleed an R34 will be like rocking horse poo. No way will a generic ODB tool do it.
    • Hmm. Perhaps not the same engineers. The OE Nissan engineers did not forsee a future with spacers pushing the tie rod force application further away from the steering arm and creating that torque. The failures are happening since the advent of those things, and some 30 years after they designed the uprights. So latent casting deficiencies, 30+ yrs of wear and tear, + unexpected usage could quite easily = unforeseen failure. Meanwhile, the engineers who are designing the billet CNC or fabricated uprights are also designing, for the same parts makers, the correction tie rod ends. And they are designing and building these with motorsport (or, at the very least, the meth addled antics of drifters) in mind. So I would hope (in fact, I would expect) that their design work included the offset of that steering force. Doesn't mean that it is not totally valid to ask the question of them, before committing $$.
    • The downside of this is when you try to track the car, as soon as you hit ABS you get introduced to a unbled system. I want to avoid this. I do not want to bleed/flush/jack up the car twice just to bleed the f**kin car.
    • But again, the engineers said your cast aluminium would be fine based on the load that would be stretching that section. Same load stretching the bolts in a flex (not the twist), with a much smaller cross sectional area than the original part you've broken. It's why you'd need to be using higher strength bolts, but that's just making up for the strength you lose with less area...
    • I am truly amazed someone on this planet was able to cycle the pump using a scan tool. I've always ghetto cycled them on Nissan 90s shit boxes by slamming the brakes and pulling the handbrake to agitate the rear wheels enough to cause a speed difference
