hey... i like the gtst, and gtr isent that powerful.4wd is a edge from the start.. and its my daily driving car, dont really want a gtr as a daily driving car.. love gtr, but not for everday.. plus, i have other things like a house and paying of another one as quick as i can to rent it out . if any one needs to rent a place?.. haha. extra study on the side, and seems harder to sell a gtr later on as well,.. i just wanted to play with the car and see what i can do.. just like sub zero in brisbane and how they made that nice r33, think it was moroon color?.. i dont think i have basic mods.. hmm.. what do you call heavey mods then?... the only thing i can think of left is borring out the motor or maby a full recondition of the hole engine... i like how it saves a fair bit of fuel to... was thinknig gtr, but,, for real, i really like the underdog gtst.. why do people buy 180s or s13s?... good to see what you can do... if i must, looks like i have to write all the mods in my sig now.. i screwed my self by doing that sig..lol.... damit... oi, you can see they are quality parts as wel. not cheap parts :P ... kofi ahmed: i like the way you you came across... i respect that. i was reading that signature animation, thats funny.. nice..

You can afford more than most of us.....but you use the high price of petrol as a reason why you don't take your car to the track. I reckon your full of shit....

Keep the contradictions coming, I am finding it quite amusing

Series II,

You can't spell, you can't talk nor type coherently and you drive a $12,000 GTST. Don't believe me? Try and sell it for more.

Now there is nothing wrong with owning a GTST, they are a fantastic car, but to say "I can afford more than most of you" is a rash and retarded statement.

What do you do for a living? Judging by the standard of all the state educated teens I encounter at shopping centres, im guessing you're a high school english teacher.

someone grab the fire extinguisher...series II is on fire.

Series II,

You belong on boostcruising.com

Your replie's hurt my brain everytime i read them, and u ramble on about rubbish in ur posts.

Also, a 'hard tuned' gtst just doesnt compare to a 'hard tuned' gtr

But he runs 11PSI EVERY DAY???? I am still awaiting Series II's reply with his list of mods indicating his "hard tuned" car, that he build using his copious amounts of money.

i like the fact he said the only thing left to do to his car is a rebuilt donk. rofl that should be the first thing done to any 'hard tuned' car

Series II,

what gearbox u running? (upgraded gears?)

what brakes u running?

i wouldnt call cusco suspension as 'hard tuned'

nor would i call a powerf fc a 'hard tuned' item

what turbo?

plenum?

Its ok, he is hardcore... He just told me what he plans to do to 'try things' with his GTST;

He's dropping an ferrari enzo engine in the boot to drive the rear wheels and will be custom fabricating his current rb25 to run the front wheels.

Dual engine GTST 4wd. Phhhewwww, lucky he has so much money. But from monday to friday he will only be putting petrol in the rb25, because he has so much money he has to worry about fuel costs.

Hello Eug and Jason...

On topic:

When I had my skyline I didnt do a trackday mainly because I didnt want to break anything as it was my daily driver. However, upon reflection if i had the car now I would do track days all winter. If you tastefully modify a GTSt for a track purpose instead of chasing XXXrwkw, you should be fine and have a ball. Hell, Jason has been doing it for years and has been quicker than most...

agreed

the best car to have out there is a stock car!

my 33 did numerous track days and never skipped a beat!

if his car is hard tuned....does that make mine a soft cock? Surely im right if things are all back to front these days.

Hey shane...dont go with your biased few on hard tuned gtr's and gtst's....i reckon they do compare and i think ours is proof of that...when its got its eye of the tiger going  haha.

Ok ok ok...

Everyones had their fun, lets keep the flaming to a simmer please... (which means: settle down)

The pot will boil over otherwise... (which means: or it will get closed)

Also can someone add a touch of salt as it tastes a little bland... (which means: im being a smart arse)

This is seriously gold.

At least if you are going to argue, do it in a fashion that people can understand.

Either way Mr Series 11. I really dont want to ever see you on this forum saying imports or skylines get picked on, or other people give them a bad name rah rah. As you would appear to be one of those people!

    • ok so if i wanted to go 18's i would go for 8's  in front 30+ or 32+ off set at front and the back 9 would be ok? what offset should i aim for.. then can i do some  hunting for wheel rim choices..    If i get this - will this fit all around: Size: 18 x 8.5 +37 - n what tyres size tyre should i get for front n back?
    • Absolute f*cking nightmare. I had to take breaks constantly, and I was always pissed off when I got home. The line split in Italy on day 2 (we drove from the Netherlands), lol. Driving any narrow European town was... well, sh*t.   Appreciate it man. Here, I'll just drop a favourite from the load I took on Saturday.   I'll update here when things happen with the car, the thing is, with stock power and almost everything chassis-wise taken care of, there really are no problems. 268,000kms now and counting.
    • Ah! I actually managed to snag a lightly used set.... that aren't so suitable for me right now. They don't work on a GTT without some cutting or creative heat moulding. I thought about reselling them myself cause I didn't want to murder them, but it looks like I'm probably going to attempt to murder them/melt them because I may as well. @GTSBoy @PranK can somebody close this thread?
    • Hey mate,  I have a set, one is slightly damaged but wont be noticable once installed.  Shoot me a message if your still after them
    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
