its meant to be televised the following week!

the whole event has been up and down with what they can enter ect. At one stage they banned 2 seat cars! the 350 and the S200 were out then the teams protested and they are back in. the M3's aren't allowed to run so the teams are running the new turbo 3 series

entry list here

Great to see Crompton behind the wheel again. even though he wasn't always the fastest, he was a clean, honest racer. and go the subaru rally boys! they'll be entertaining to watch. i hope it rains... hehehehe :P

Yeah I like Cromps too, good commentator and a great bloke, indeed it is good seeing him on the track..

No Skylines.... No 350Z's... No Supras.... No RX7's or RX8's.... The Beemers are all shitty wanna be el cheapo's and not even one Audi or Merc...

off topic but Team Australia will be running their ChampCar at Bathurst this weekend! mmmmm twin turbo ethanol V8. 750hp & 650Kgs

it should well and truly beat the V8 supercar lap record if Max Wilson can keep it off the walls

and how can crompton etc be driving two cars? weird rules if you ask me. and where are all the decent cars? and why is it not being televised on the day. weak. things are a bit sad when and evo 5 is the fastest car out there.

Well said!!!!

Oh and the old Indy car will be run under "Controlled Conditions" meaning behind a pace car.

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
