I can't be bothered posting, because I know my post will just get deleted or the thread closed.

All that I can say is, I wish that sau would have a balance of positive and negative feedbeack so that we can get both sides of the story before we buy.

Just like how 2 days ago, the same thread was deleted, when not a single negative comment was said. Just people who are waiting said they are.

It doesn't matter. Even though r33 god got his today, it's not 1 day late. It's 2 months 2 weeks late.

Everyone (r33 god included) was offered a 2-3 week turn around time.

I paid for mine Months ago. I notified slide that it had to be ready before the xmas holidays finished (project needed to be finished before uni started. Deadline was missed.

Told him that it needed to be here before my rego expired. Deadline missed.

All that I can say, is i'm still waiting.

This has been raised (among other issues) and is being looked into, so fear not guys :)

We give our time for free... so not everything can be a split second response. (plus its coming up to a long weekend)

Just everyone settle a bit, and let the resolution process take its course. All should be worked out.

Cheers :)

dude, if uve got a problem with slide i say u take it up with him personally through PM. no need to tell the world by starting a thread about it when its one day late

+1

there was another dude who kicked up a huge fuss and started a thread saying negative shit about SP when it turned it wasnt the SP turbo playing up, it was something else on his car or something (do a search u will def find it - it was a huge thread). Lots of people have been happy with Aaron's service, so if there was a problem, pm-ing him would ahve been the best option....quicker response from the man himself too

anyways, alls well that ends well...enjoy the turbo

ive been waitng months and i have keep my cool but when i pm slide i get no response..thats what ticks me off just let me know whats going on...to much to ask?

everything i have read about slide has been totally positive so im not to worried but it would be nice to get a straight answer.. thats my 2 cents

I can only imagine the amount of pressure Aaron is under trying to get these things out, there must be a shitload of orders. He runs a business not only based on highflows, the same goes for the people making them, they have other work also. There is a saturation point with filling these orders and I'm sure he does his best.

Yeah I ordered my one back in May last year and had it in a day or so, but demand has blown the delivery times out, you need to weigh up cost vs how badly you need it.

Aarons service has been excellent and I've bought a few things from him.

We have had quite a few problems happen from having a housing jump out and damage our main lathe to waiting for parts.

Delivery time still may be up to 2 weeks due to orders placed before yours.

If you cannot wait please provide your account details as i am more then happy to refund the total amount of your purchase.

I got that PM reply a few days ago. I feel for the people waiting longer than I have, 1 1/2 months has felt like an eternity.

If your impatient, you can always get a refund then send it to GCG to get high flowed. You will have it back in no time.

Patience is a virtue and plus have to aggree on severl things here, the influx in people ordering these highflows would put alot of demand and pressure on aaron to get them all done, not only that if he sends them to his "place" to be done that would also impact on there turn around time as there probably is a back log on things ie: cartridges gotta consider many things here like if demand increases so does turn around time as both affect each other, Take example of like engine re-building it can take 2 weeks upto 7 weeks depending on parts and demand. Plus business holiday times as well. I say wait when it comes it comes!

    • Yeah, it's getting like that, my daughter is coming over on Thursday to help me remove the bonnet so I can install the Carbuilders underbonnet stuff,  I might get her to give me a hand and remove the hardtop, maybe, because on really hot days the detachable hardtop helps the aircon keep the interior cool, the heat just punches straight through to rag top I also don't have enough hair for the "wind in the hair" experience, so there is that....LOL
    • Could be falling edge/rising edge is set wrong. Are you getting sync errors?
    • On BMWs what I do because I'm more confident that I can't instantly crush the pinch welds and do thousands of USD in chassis damage is use a set of rubber jacking pads designed to protect the chassis/plastic adapter and raise a corner of the car, place the aforementioned 2x12 inch wooden planks under a tire, drop the car, then this normally gives me enough clearance to get to the front central jack point. If you don't need it to be a ramp it only needs to be 1-1.5 feet long. On my R33 I do not trust the pinch welds to tolerate any of this so I drive up on the ramps. Before then when I had to get a new floor jack that no longer cleared the front lip I removed it to get enough clearance to put the jack under it. Once you're on the ramps once you simply never let the car down to the ground. It lives on the ramps or on jack stands.
    • Nah. You need 2x taps for anything that you cannot pass the tap all the way through. And even then, there's a point in response to the above which I will come back to. The 2x taps are 1x tapered for starting, and 1x plug tap for working to the bottom of blind holes. That block's port is effectively a blind hole from the perspective of the tap. The tapered tap/tapered thread response. You don't ever leave a female hole tapered. They are supposed to be parallel, hence the wide section of a tapered tap being parallel, the existince of plug taps, etc. The male is tapered so that it will eventually get too fat for the female thread, and yes, there is some risk if the tapped length of the female hole doesn't offer enough threads, that it will not lock up very nicely. But you can always buzz off the extra length on the male thread, and the tape is very good at adding bulk to the joint.
    • Nice....looking forward to that update
