Its a really SAD day for me,

I've sold the GTR today after two years of ownership, the best car i've ever own. So much money, time and effort has been put into the car to get it to today's condition but its time to move on.

The new owner was very cautious, after almost a month of checking, testing, to different work shop, final inspection was carried out this morning by his family mechanic and my Gtr passed with a high flying flag, not to consider he has also looked at, tested a few other very Tasty Gtrs as well but mine stand strong. Its just tells looking after your car well and the end will be worth it.

Still, regardless at the end of the day, its still a 32gtr. Snowy was right when he stated this a while a go, *he said buying a 32Gtr, you would need to spend at least another 10k or more to make it perfect*. My advise for newly/current/about to R32gtr owners is if you plan to SOUP it up, take it straight to RACEPACE, get BEN's secret :) STAGE ONE engine and you can drive the car as HARD as you like without the WORRY.

I never really get to drive/track the car to my desire as the feeling of *this might break, that might break* stop me from pushing it to what it really capable of doing or if not better. Its really Itchy to attend TRACK DAYS, help out Flagging, watching you guys fly pass but then again, i still think my Saturday was worth spend, better than go to AUTO SALON LOL. Never the less, this baby had hardly let me down, till date, i've ran an unofficial 11.5 on street tyre and i hope it will serve the new owner the same way it did to me.

Anyway, thank heaps to RACEPACE. If it wasn't the *RACEPACE TUNING STYLE*, i really think it wouldn't have last, if not still in this good condition. Also to Jack for all the towing with mate's rate ;).

Also thanks RE CUSTOM for looking after it on the last few weeks of my ownership.

I've been looking at a few Kei cars, mainly the THIS HONDA CITY because it sounds like so much fun and cheap for now. I might get back to the STOVE LIGHT scense soon or maybe another year or two as at the moment, R33GTR price has gone down to a really afforable level. Until then, watch out for a kei car with SAU VIC sticker and TYM-ATK number plate :).

Khoa's out.

Damn West, after our chat i thought you were going to keep her ;) .

Don't buy the Honda, look at the Suzuki Cappacino. Won multiple awards, during it's time, for engineering and design, it is also a Kai car.

900cc, 3cyl, turbo. Hard top -> Targa top -> full convertable. Great car especially for someone your size and also great on fuel. When my mate had one it done about 400km per tank (20 litres). There are also turbo, exhaust, ecu, etc, upgrades available at VERY reasonable prices. My mate bought the Suzuki Motorsport kit ( larger turbo, injectors, and new ecu) for about $1800. A car worth definately considering.

Oh at Winton this car was faster than stockish gtst's (exhaust, fmic, boost), even b4 the upgrade and with those shocking tyres that flexed toooo much on tight corners. In a straight line the Skyline killed it though :( (Calder Drags)

You sir have just shed a light ;). Totally forgot about that car, very tempting now.

noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Koala!! what were u thinking!

haha nah... its a sad day indeed.

Look at Al pimping those capa's... do u try and get all the people around u to buy one to make sure ur cars the best looking and fastest?

just a buy a fully sick VL 5litre on gas and be done with it all...

and yeah steer away from the EVOs... theyre the new R33 :( except not as ugly and not as slow ;)

better get out of here now before someone with an R33 starts to don their rebuttal belt.

Good luck with what ever u get mate!

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.........maybe :D

I honestly think they're a great car for someone looking in that type of market.

    • Harness is for a s1 Rb25det, and it is engine and lower harness.  the old harness had broken off plugs and was in very rough condition/exposed wires and splices etc. it is not able to be put back on the car, I could visually inspect to see if they had rewired any pins on the ecu plug. The fuel pump definitly isn’t turning off it’s an external pump and very loud you can hear it. Will look at the other harness tonight, am also going to pull the fuel rail and watch the injectors spray, will update here with what I find. Pretty sure at this point it has to be something to do with injectors because car will fire up on starting fluid and cas is clicking the Injectors. Fuel pressure is steady 43psi
    • Check the injectors flow evenly, and are actually flowing what you and the ECU think they should be flowing. If it's starting up on starter fluid, you have a fuel issue. Is it possible under cranking your fuel pump is turning off?   The harness you replaced, is that the whole engine harness? Do yourself a test, and drop the old harness on and plug it into the Z32 ECU. It's possible they've wired things different. From memory S1 to S2 is different in RB25 and you may have a wrong loom
    • I haven’t pulled the injectors to watch them spray yet but they are clicking from the cas and all of the spark plugs are wet with fuel. I’ve thought the cylinders were being flooded from the beginning and was hoping fuel pressure would fix it. Tonight I am going to pull the rail and watch the injectors spray. Don’t know how to test/diagnose if the plugs are firing in correct sequence but that should be a timing thing and as far as timing goes my car still has the half moon for the cas can only install it 1 way. And my mechanical timing is 100% correct I posted photos above. Confirmed with the balancer on and off.
    • I checked spark on all cylinders and they all visually have spark with the plug pulled and grounded, but plug 1 is the only one that fouled. This was a running swap that blew up and was rebuilt by a machine shop, put a new wiring specialties harness and did all gaskets, studs, and bolts while it was out.  compression is 135-150 across all cylinders. Aside from that from my understanding with the z32 ecu and maf the car should start regardless. The wiring for TPS and the dual 02 sensor/ dual knock sensor stuff shouldn’t actually stop the car from starting or even running well, (just slightly rich)  they just give fault codes. Car supposedly is supposed to start as long as you have z32 afm and ecu with the nistune base map and that’s info coming from a well known and trusted tuner who does a lot with SR/RB (Rsenthalpy). After more trouble shooting today where I’m at right now is that the cas is sending signal to the injectors they click while spinning the rotor, Fuel pressure is now set at 43psi, all cylinders have good compression and all of the plugs looked great (just wet with fuel) except for cylinder 1 which was very black (cylinder 1 has 150psi compression). all of the coils generate spark if pulled out and grounded out on the head. On the fuel pump car just pops into the exhaust. On starting fluid car will fire off. Hard to tell if all cylinders are firing off but definitley a couple. sounds like all of them but it’s only for 3-5 seconds hard to tell.
