many moons ago when I was living at home some cops came round one Sat arvo...

I walk outside to see them inspecting my old 33... started to chat to them and apparently a neighbour had dobbed us in as we had a loud car that was waking them up in the morning... I asked them what time and they said approx 5:30am... There was no way it was me as I never get up that early so I took them out the back to show them my dad's old Alfa Giulia GTC... they just laughed and asked to hear it... I gave it a few revs for them and they said nice car and left promptly lol... that car is seriously loud, I did used to feel a bit sorry for the neighbours! lol made my 33 sound positively quiet in comparison :bunny:

Hahaha nice one!

Im yet to get a visit from the po po's but im sure in the near future they will be knocking at my door :bunny:

That yellow Panspeed fd is automotive porno!

Looking good Dane. Do me a favour, and feel free to tell me to get stuffed...but i think the thing that will make your car will be the carbon flush fit headlight kit that deletes the pop up headlights.

If Greg's Onevia was white i would have bought it already as my daily. I wuodl throw the headlight conversion on it and be stoked! I would then change my name to Ben and track spec my GTSt. It seems all the cool kids with track GTSts these days go by the name of Ben

You can tell me to get rooted too but I agree with Roy here, I reckon the carbon lights would look schweet.

Bris, I have your solution, my girl is up for sale, how about I send her over to you? :D You can even leave the name stickers on the window so everyone thinks you're one of the cool "Ben's" .

Great minds must think alike hey boys??! You can both get stuffed, and rooted...

I'm way ahead of you, already have these waiting to go in, hence why there's no headlights in there :D Unfortunately they're not carbon though... The stock headlights weigh a fair bit, and were complicated to wire and just unnecessary so we decided to delete them with the Supermade kit. Now I juts need to get some lights for it, but it will make for a great cold air feed until then.

Greg's Onevia is a top buy Troy, nice car. Then you'll have a real engine, none of this RB rubbish :D

yeah you want some of these bad boys. it's the wtg for 180.

in fact if I ever do a 180 it will be a replica of that one. I saw it when it was debuted at tokyo auto salon a few years back and it was awesome then, and it's awesome now! lol, and nomuken even signed shit for me next to it, then pulled funny faces while I took pictures. fun times.

The 180 has a heart beat!

that's awesome!

the headlight kit will look the goods on your car...

if my onevia was white, I probably wouldn't have bothered building up my silvia, I decided I wanted a white s13 not long after I imported the blue one... smooth.

I think im in love with those URAS kits...if only they did them for 33s and Id be set

Haha smooth Greg!

Yeah, I think the headlight kit will tie in well with the whole black/champagne thing I've got going on, especially when the carbon bonnet goes back on, though it's looking a little worse for wear...

Baron: I dig the Uras kit too mate, pity it came out after I'd spent way too much on the bodywork already. It looks to make a good base for some underbody aero work too.

Selling her? Any particular reason? Shame, the thing looked to be a decent little bus, and no doubt well driven.

    • For once a good news  It needed to be adjusted by that one nut and it is ok  At least something was easy But thank you very much for help. But a small issue is now(gearbox) that when the car is stationary you can hear "clinking" from gearbox so some of the bearing is 100% not that happy... It goes away once you push clutch so it is 100% gearbox. Just if you know...what that bearing could be? It sounding like "spun bearing" but it is louder.
    • Yeah, that's fine**. But the numbers you came up with are just wrong. Try it for yourself. Put in any voltage from the possible range and see what result you get. You get nonsense. ** When I say "fine", I mean, it's still shit. The very simple linear formula (slope & intercept) is shit for a sensor with a non-linear response. This is the curve, from your data above. Look at the CURVE! It's only really linear between about 30 and 90 °C. And if you used only that range to define a curve, it would be great. But you would go more and more wrong as you went to higher temps. And that is why the slope & intercept found when you use 50 and 150 as the end points is so bad halfway between those points. The real curve is a long way below the linear curve which just zips straight between the end points, like this one. You could probably use the same slope and a lower intercept, to move that straight line down, and spread the error out. But you would 5-10°C off in a lot of places. You'd need to say what temperature range you really wanted to be most right - say, 100 to 130, and plop the line closest to teh real curve in that region, which would make it quite wrong down at the lower temperatures. Let me just say that HPTuners are not being realistic in only allowing for a simple linear curve.
    • I feel I should re-iterate. The above picture is the only option available in the software and the blurb from HP Tuners I quoted earlier is the only way to add data to it and that's the description they offer as to how to figure it out. The only fields available is the blank box after (Input/ ) and the box right before = Output. Those are the only numbers that can be entered.
    • No, your formula is arse backwards. Mine is totally different to yours, and is the one I said was bang on at 50 and 150. I'll put your data into Excel (actually it already is, chart it and fit a linear fit to it, aiming to make it evenly wrong across the whole span. But not now. Other things to do first.
    • God damnit. The only option I actually have in the software is the one that is screenshotted. I am glad that I at least got it right... for those two points. Would it actually change anything if I chose/used 80C and 120C as the two points instead? My brain wants to imagine the formula put into HPtuners would be the same equation, otherwise none of this makes sense to me, unless: 1) The formula you put into VCM Scanner/HPTuners is always linear 2) The two points/input pairs are only arbitrary to choose (as the documentation implies) IF the actual scaling of the sensor is linear. then 3) If the scaling is not linear, the two points you choose matter a great deal, because the formula will draw a line between those two points only.
