hahahaha...... So, judging by this, I'll have no problem painting a Gen III black and slotting it in?

How do I paint exhaust sound black?

sound doesn't matter... use those lockable aero latches for the bonnet and 'loose' the key if asked to open it up, after a minute of pretend searching for the key employ the ol' silent mobile phone ringing approach and pretend to take a call then walk away from the car on the phone (must be a casual stroll else they wise up to the game), remember not to return to the car until the scrutineers leave!

My old girl. Been racing since 06. recent updates inc apexi pfc, gtr injectors and afm.

should honk down the straights now.

still had standard brakes (slotted rotors, bendix pads) standard swaybars, lowered springs.

producing 190kw at present, has been as high as 202, now it has the aboved mentioned we will go for around 210 max with no more than 17psi.

have 3 round 3rd places and a race win........so far.

low 1:08s is pretty slippery mate! good times.

WRX incar footage just makes me wonder why anyone would want to race one. what an excitement machine. only thing it ever does is understeer... yawn

How cool is that track, i would be there every weekend if it was in Tassie :ermm:

I've slowly been piecing my car back together so i can get back into hill climbs and mini sprints. I then have a decision if i want to bite the bullet and stick with drift next year or maybe try my hand at circuit racing...

Im another one that has all RB20 love

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
