Hey I spoted that Mclaren F1 too. On high St Northcote!!!!

I tell ya, it looked so vulnerable just sitting there.

Looks like Preston with the Hungry Jacks and Europcar car yard on the other side, but I'm just being picky!! Great spot!

who parks their McLaren in teh ghetto? :domokun: (looks like ghetto anywayz)

hope that Camry driver doesn't floor it in reverse instead of drive when pulling out. doesn't bear thinking about.....

i would give every spare organ i could muster to drive one for a day. lol

^^OMG! F**king mad! Nice find Matt.

Thanks Jamie!

You ever seen how hot that thing is in the flesh?!

Unreal!

I nearly had an accident when driving past it. Just yanked on the ancors (and myself), just so I could get a better look at the beast. Nothing quite like it.

Hey thats twice we've bumped into each other on the way to work, how weird was that, again?

Must look sweet to see two R32 gtrs side by side, both gunmetal grey with white rims.

HAHA! I would have just parked in the middle of the street just to take a pic!

Yeah I usualy leave at about 9am, latest 9:15 to get to work, cuz that Chandler Hwy can get pretty stupid with traffic, cuz everyone want to go Fairfield that way and to go Kew, it get block with all the cars.

But yeah is cool seeing both cars at the same time! Still yours looks TUFF with the spoiler on it and can always spot it!

Saw a silver Murchie LP640 on Warrigal Road near ashwood (reg LLP640).

Poor dude nearly stalled turning right to go down the hill towards holmesgen TAFE. I was in my wife's V50 T5 Volvo with her and the kids.

He gunned it just outside the TAFE and it was fair to say the sound was enough for me to nurse a semi :D

He was doing laps of the suburb as when we were on our way home saw him on the same corner again.

P1 car at all?

Spotted what may be the same Murchie LP640 BBGTR saw 'briskly' driving down chapel street and then turning into dandenong road heading city bound late (11.00ish) on Sunday night.

How is the exhaust legal because it was quite loud?

Also spotted a black Ferrari 360 turning from Chapel street into dandenong road heading outbound at approx 4.00pm yesterday. It also had a loud exhaust that I wouldn't call legal

How is the exhaust legal because it was quite loud?....It also had a loud exhaust that I wouldn't call legal

They are 'legal' because they come fitted from the factory with a butterfly valve in the exhaust system....the epa say ok we'll test the noise of your Lambo/Porsche/Ferrari etc at xyz rpm so the manufacturers just set it to free flow after that.

Yeah what he said^^^

Yet i'd be VERY VERY surprised to see a lambo driver with an aftermarket exhaust pulled over and defected for a loud exhaust... even though a lot that i've heard are a heck of a lot louder than any turbo six with a 4" exhaust!!

one day when im feeling brave and ever come across a car like that (has to be more rare then a ferrari) im going to make sure my insurance is up to date as is my rating 1 protection and plow into something like that... and after careening into it onwards into some sort of exhibition of rare paintings and artifacts and see if i can rackup close to a 20 million dollar bill which is the max insurance companies seem to have and go on about... really get my monies worth cause it just doesnt feel right not having an accident over many years not to use it at least once.

The hotties are definitely out in force now that the GP is on.

Saw the 2 Rarris outside Crown the other night.

Saw the F40 on Alexandra Parade yesterday on my way to lunch in Carlton.

Also saw a couple F430 ragtops, a DB9, and I'm not sure but I thought I saw a 599 ragtop in Lygon St. Do they exist?

Saw a few nice cars in Sydney while dropping off the Porsche 911 (997) Carrera S Cabriolet (what a mouthful). A nice black Lambo Gallardo, some nice Mercs...then got to P1 Supercars new Sydney Office. Sorry for phone pics.

There was this guy's photo....he's on the far left. Generally known as that guy from P1.

The view out from the office..... L-R Maserati quattroporte, the Porka and the Gallardo spyder

And my taxi to the Casino and the ariel atom up the front of the building

The taxi was of course the Fezza 360 Challenge Stradale. The only silver one in Oz.

Happy to be your taxi driver Geoff! Especially in the office runabout, the 360CS!

:D

    • For once a good news  It needed to be adjusted by that one nut and it is ok  At least something was easy But thank you very much for help. But a small issue is now(gearbox) that when the car is stationary you can hear "clinking" from gearbox so some of the bearing is 100% not that happy... It goes away once you push clutch so it is 100% gearbox. Just if you know...what that bearing could be? It sounding like "spun bearing" but it is louder.
    • Yeah, that's fine**. But the numbers you came up with are just wrong. Try it for yourself. Put in any voltage from the possible range and see what result you get. You get nonsense. ** When I say "fine", I mean, it's still shit. The very simple linear formula (slope & intercept) is shit for a sensor with a non-linear response. This is the curve, from your data above. Look at the CURVE! It's only really linear between about 30 and 90 °C. And if you used only that range to define a curve, it would be great. But you would go more and more wrong as you went to higher temps. And that is why the slope & intercept found when you use 50 and 150 as the end points is so bad halfway between those points. The real curve is a long way below the linear curve which just zips straight between the end points, like this one. You could probably use the same slope and a lower intercept, to move that straight line down, and spread the error out. But you would 5-10°C off in a lot of places. You'd need to say what temperature range you really wanted to be most right - say, 100 to 130, and plop the line closest to teh real curve in that region, which would make it quite wrong down at the lower temperatures. Let me just say that HPTuners are not being realistic in only allowing for a simple linear curve.
    • I feel I should re-iterate. The above picture is the only option available in the software and the blurb from HP Tuners I quoted earlier is the only way to add data to it and that's the description they offer as to how to figure it out. The only fields available is the blank box after (Input/ ) and the box right before = Output. Those are the only numbers that can be entered.
    • No, your formula is arse backwards. Mine is totally different to yours, and is the one I said was bang on at 50 and 150. I'll put your data into Excel (actually it already is, chart it and fit a linear fit to it, aiming to make it evenly wrong across the whole span. But not now. Other things to do first.
    • God damnit. The only option I actually have in the software is the one that is screenshotted. I am glad that I at least got it right... for those two points. Would it actually change anything if I chose/used 80C and 120C as the two points instead? My brain wants to imagine the formula put into HPtuners would be the same equation, otherwise none of this makes sense to me, unless: 1) The formula you put into VCM Scanner/HPTuners is always linear 2) The two points/input pairs are only arbitrary to choose (as the documentation implies) IF the actual scaling of the sensor is linear. then 3) If the scaling is not linear, the two points you choose matter a great deal, because the formula will draw a line between those two points only.
