you have a good point there monkey, no one wants to be the first to post a thread asking: "how do I get the stains out of my R35s back seat"...

oh, and from what I know from people in japan the premium version will look the same as the non-premium. just different wheels, and other little trim and accessories options etc. but nothing major.

car looks great, performance stats r great too, but it will be in paddle shift only and no full manual, that means no clutch, no heel toeing, etc, computer will do everything for you! I think it's no fun. Would you get it when it's not full manual? I am consider between this GTR and z06.....I mean when you drive a sport car u want to shift and do everything yourself, no?

Need to see it in the flesh, but 11.7 quater mile and 3.5 to 100k/h, that's one fast stock car!

I will have to wait, see it in the flesh and test drive it before I put my name to an order form...

480 PS , sounds good but don't forget she will be very heavy at 1700 kg ???

Don't forget they want to compete with the 911 turbo, that has 480 PS sub 12 sec 1/4 mile ( easy) and 0-100 in 3.7 sec , (Porsche claims) and Porsche are usualy conservative with their power and times. By they way 0-60 MPH is a little quicker than 0-100 kmh.Top speed just a shade under the 911 turbo so you get Porsche performance for 1/2 price or even less.

Looks like the the 530 PS model will be a GT2 competitor but still AWD....

I hope they sell them new here in volume so you can't bring them in under sevs, this will be easier to insure by mainstream insurers and have a better se-sale value too.

looks like it is going to be running two subs in the arm rest area in the back seat to ahah cool i expect will have a premium stereo looks like a Bose maybe.

very nice car

By the looks of those shots, that will be premium model with leather, Bose stereo and the like.

I hate runflats! Noisy as all fark and ride like crap. In the end I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

i sat there for 5 mins tryin to figure out how you'd get the passenger that sits behind the driver in... cos we all know the driver seat NEVER moves... it just f**ks with the zen. If they were to go in thru the passenger side they'd have to jump over that centre console thing.

reminds me of a Mazda Cosmo backseat.

well the layout of the seats looks very similar to the V35, so i'm guessing its a similar mechanism. in the V35 it electrically moves forward when you angle the seat, then electrically moves back when you lock it back into place

hell, the car weights 1700+kg that better include electric seats..

i personally have no issues with there being a "premium" model and a base model as long as the driveline is the same. i would never spend that much on a car and not go all out with leather, bose, etc. but i can appreciate that some people might want to..

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
