What a fantastic event! :w00t: I am SO bringing my car next time!

Congratulations to everyone who competed and put up with the damn flies and heat. Shame to see so many bail from Taco Bills at the end, but we still had fun! Well done to the Directing Team and officials who dedicated so much of their time to the day.

I can't wait to see the results and thanks to :( Dan, Daz and Snowy and Zee for letting me jump in the silly seat for a blast!! WHAT FUN!!!

PS where are the results?

Id have to admit sat night was awesome i haven't had that much fun in a long time..

Best thing it looks like i have to go back to shep tonight for work as we have some more issues up there....

Catch ya all soon

So pissed at missing another DECA!!

Will definately be at one of the rounds next year and will hopefully have some SA guys come over aswell as I have been bragging how awesome it is!! :(

You Vic guys put on a fantastic event!!!

another top DECA, big thanks to all those who stood out in the sun for us... sorry we piked after Tacos but I was farked... another corona and I was going to be asleep in the corner under my sombrero

if anyone has any photos or footage to send my way please do! we accidentally left the camera at home... again:(

Well I don't know where to start, maybe with the highlights!

- The Honeymoon suite, do i need to say anymore!

- Big Red is the most awesome car on the planet (Seriously!), soooo much fun to drive! :):(

- Having Rob, Mark & Sean at their first Deca! Thanks for coming up guys, i'm sure you will be back.

- Taco Bills and the hot sauce, possibly the worst experience of my entire life! And the culprit is still feeling very average about the whole 'incident'.

- Mav learning how to pole dance at the strippers on the main stage, best $40 we've ever spent and i've never laughed soo much!

- Handbags laughing so hard at Mav on the main stage at the stippers that he fell off his chair :D

- Vadg you are a legend! Thanks for being a good sport! :spank:

- The 8 hour mission home, Shepparton to Brighton (to drop Big Red off) to Eltham (to drop the trailer off) to Brighton (to drop the X5 off) to Malvern (Finally home). Such an exhausting day!

- Thanks to the officials for making that event happen, the conditions were terrible, sooo hot with so many flies, you guys did really well!

That's about it for now.

Looking forward to the next one! :w00t:

:w00t: - an ace weekend.

Getting the cops to swap hats with me was ace - I was either gunna get arrested or get what I wanted. YAY to 2 good sports!!!!

The sign being changed at Taco Baz's was gold, and getting Baz to buy us shots when we were out was even better.

Mav is hilarious, the ice down the pants was by far the best bit :D

Vadg - hope you had a good time :)

Everything previously mentioned by others +1

Lesson learnt - the 'Death Sauce' is really really hot - NEVER trying it again.

The chick who fell over in the line at that last club we went to - PI$$ER!!!!!

Best part about this weekend - I was able to eat breakfast the next morning.

Thanks to everyone for another weekend to remember.

:(

West don't think that was me mate, I'm nowhere near athletic enough for back flips!

    • Update all   thanks to the workshop manual, it lead me back to checking fuses as mentioned central locking and door open lights worked when acc was switched on. diagram attached shows two points of power 1. ACC and 2.  Batt with the later being fused (#28) I did check the fuses using a multimeter but I must have stuffed that up also. Went back and checked the batt fuse in interior fuse box and you wouldn’t believe it… a blown fuse. replaced fuse and everything is now working as it should including the climate control   thank you all with your positive insight and knowledge.
    • Where is the warning "That this thread is super old"   I just went into a 5 year old thread, went to do a reply, and couldn't see anywhere obvious a warning of it being super old
    • Duncan is correct. Pitwork (and Toyota's own cheap brand "Drive Joy") were primarily created as brands to sell other manufacturers car parts. It would be weird if Nissan sold parts for Toyota vehicles with a Nissan logo on it, so they created Pitwork to sell parts for other brans Toyota, Honda etc. They are not the same as Nissan genuine parts, although they *do* meet Nissan's standards for replacement parts. They aren't supposed to be a substitute for genuine parts, but a cheaper alternative that is better than Ebay fake parts from you-know-where.
    • Thanks GTSBoy, much easier to work with it now it's free!
    • I _think_ that one has a christmas tree or some other retainer spike into a hole in that panel under it. Come in under it with thin scredrivers and just pry it gently up. If you rip the ears off the retainer pin....so what? Just stick it back down after with a bit of race tape and carry on with life.
