Spotted a Maroon R33 with P Plates out the back of Strathfield Noarlunga this Morning, might have been Jack88?

yep that was me. was installing there today.i heard a couple of RB's giving it abit while driving past the workshop lol. herd something scream past that sounded awsome. that and a cop car leaving maccas carpark ripping a skid as it left lol. if only i could read the plates from where i was standing.

Oh and that was also me that parked next to your car out the back of cashies a couple weeks ago too haha,i was installing at strathies again.

Lol, my car wasn't there today as it's at a workshop having things done, i was dropped off today. Was meaning to call down while we were quite and have a chat...but as i am lazy, so i didn't :P, i did offer to buy the coffees today too, would have called in then.

Spotted many many lols tonight also HOSTILE, Inline6, YOUWISH, heslo, Scandy, V35-2005 plus Weezy in like 3 different places haha.

Also a white r34 and a silver r33 at Vilis and Bec's R34 GTR at BP.

Spotted the yellow DAYZ stagea next to me at the lights on goodwood road last night turning onto cross road.

Later at the Oriental spotted a 32 GTR around 6:30pm giving a little squirt from the lights

think i seen your car.. just outside primos. (dark coloured 33 four door next to a grey camry?)

spotted a few skylines, seen a white 32 around modbury area, spotted a maron 32 down dalkeith road i think,

seen more but i cant remember them at the moment.

Yeah that was me man, went to eat at Primo's but once we saw the line up we walked to Cafe B

Also got a bit of a shock when I had a little Ford Escort at the lights last night in Hallett Cove simply launch off the line and then I heard a BOV... what the f**k was that thing running?!

Got waves from all 3!

yeh that escort passed me going up cement hill a while back i was all like wtf? lol

    • The question then becomes - was there any fluid coming from that hole before you did the rebuild ?    You may not have noticed, of course.   Depending on how you did the rebuild, the possibility has to be considered that somehow (cleaning ?)  fluid entered that hole and is now being 'forced'  out by small movements of the proportioning valve.   From the factory, there's actually a small rubber plug in that hole but with age and under-bonnet heat it's quite common for it to 'go missing'.  That rubber plug is designed to allow the venting process but also to prevent 'stuff' getting to the area (prevent corrosion, etc).   The plug is also not available as a spare part AFAIA. Personally I wouldn't race and buy a new master just yet but keep an eye on the area to see if the 'leak' continues.   If you're concerned about brake fluid damaging nearby paintwork, cable tie a piece of suitable absorbant material over the hole and remove/monitor occasionally.    Operation of the proportioning valve and the brake master itself won't be affected, but also keep an eye on brake fluid level, of course. In terms of a new master, the genuine part is getting expensive, unfortunately.  Amayama is showing AUD900+.   I was searching recently and there's an aftermarket part available from Japan made by 'Parts Assist': https://zenmarket.jp/en/yahoo.aspx?q=BNR32%2bBM50&p=1 Whether it's any good I have no idea, although in my experience Japanese aftermarket stuff is pretty good quality-wise.   The above site allows overseas buyers to purchase stuff more easily from Japan but there are fees and shipping costs, of course.   The original Japanese seller page is here: https://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/p1197401228 Copper/Nickel is fine but I still prefer bundy tube and it's also cheaper.
