That would of been me in the 34. It's looking ugly with stockies at the moment

Good to see you on here! Was ahead of the small convoy of cars - Gold GTi, WRX, Honda Prelude....and a ... Land Rover Sport V8 Supercharged

Yeh I saw your cruise, was tempted to join. Very nice cars! Where did you guys end up going?

Good question.... met another mate at Darlington BP, then headed to Meadows via Clarendon, then to Hahndorf through to Lobethal - ended with Gorge Road. Was a nice simple cruise that went longer than any of us expected, and a few funny stories....all un-planned.

That was me. I think the forum time must be wrong, your post was at 9:53pm and I was driving along the espy at 10:53pm.

and to his defence he wasn't doing mach 1 but more then 50kph

I figured it was you - thanks for being honest

Just watch out Thursday at 330am a flock of kids nearly got hit by a speeding car not expecting people out !! , with holidays and tour down under the road is busy with foot and bike traffic all hours of the night and lots more police and council patrols

It was deff more than 50km, think I was doing about 80ish.

I heard you coming and looked out my window - spotted you fliggin by

Don't worry a few motorcycles have been coming past in excess of 180 or more , limiter bouncing fast, so fast police wont give chase to a bike

I just keep waiting for the crash noise on the curve into the sea !!

theres something about that esplanade, being a long road people seem to want to drive fast or tailgate you. i went down it last week and had to pull over a few times to let the lineup go by.

after seeing a few tractors towing boats along there the last thing i'd want to do is move quickly

Haha yeah old guy down the road has that old farm tractor to launch boats at all hours

plus aldinga is has some of the worse bumps and

Holes in the roads like a B-52 bomb strike on a village

      Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

      The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same.       Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
