saw a dark grey r33 on the westgate going towards the city yesterday (saturday) flying past me and a white gtr.. offcourse i had to catch up and say hi and give them the thumbs up.

Today going home from work, there was a white R34 with red brides and black nismo rims, with slotted and drilled rotors possibly DBA4000's? not sure if the above mentioned cars are SAU members.

that's bombtrack (chris)

spotted LEANBAC and his cuz partying up at The Drink club in the goldcoast.

spotted LEANBAC and funkymonkey ordering "surprise us" cocktails that tasted like good for the first two sips, then tasted like leftover ass shortly afterwards.

just a suggestion.......

nominate one day of this week where we all tie a coloured ribbon to our antennas or window to identify sau members?....or we can get off our lazy buts and become paid members to get stickers.

...either way it would be interesting to see how many "friendlys" there are out there.

:)

The Members stickers work..

Spotted DogKnight at a wedding tonight...

Well... ...He really spotted me... ...because I'm shit with remembering faces and names...

Great to chat and I think the girls will be looking forward to the next cruise now...

That worked out well. Had someone at the wedding to talk to all night and our partners became good friends. So now they'll be looking forward to the next cruise as long as they are both coming. I still say we stick thm in their own car at the back of the cruise.

Catch of the day

1300: Black R34 GT-T with black custom plates.. can't remember what... started with V. On Victoria Pde at around 1300.

1315: Black R33 Victoria Pde

1330: Black R32 with black rims on Russel St.

Two hobos checking out my R34 GTR as I returned to it to leave for work. They thought it was fake lol. It's not that easy to fake a stock-looking R34 GTR.

prob why i didnt see ya. yeh i went to my mums work to do some paperwork. hopefully i get a job there. so maybe i will have to keep an eye out for ur car if i get the job as its in camberwell too.

    • Update all   thanks to the workshop manual, it lead me back to checking fuses as mentioned central locking and door open lights worked when acc was switched on. diagram attached shows two points of power 1. ACC and 2.  Batt with the later being fused (#28) I did check the fuses using a multimeter but I must have stuffed that up also. Went back and checked the batt fuse in interior fuse box and you wouldn’t believe it… a blown fuse. replaced fuse and everything is now working as it should including the climate control   thank you all with your positive insight and knowledge.
    • Where is the warning "That this thread is super old"   I just went into a 5 year old thread, went to do a reply, and couldn't see anywhere obvious a warning of it being super old
    • Duncan is correct. Pitwork (and Toyota's own cheap brand "Drive Joy") were primarily created as brands to sell other manufacturers car parts. It would be weird if Nissan sold parts for Toyota vehicles with a Nissan logo on it, so they created Pitwork to sell parts for other brans Toyota, Honda etc. They are not the same as Nissan genuine parts, although they *do* meet Nissan's standards for replacement parts. They aren't supposed to be a substitute for genuine parts, but a cheaper alternative that is better than Ebay fake parts from you-know-where.
    • Thanks GTSBoy, much easier to work with it now it's free!
    • I _think_ that one has a christmas tree or some other retainer spike into a hole in that panel under it. Come in under it with thin scredrivers and just pry it gently up. If you rip the ears off the retainer pin....so what? Just stick it back down after with a bit of race tape and carry on with life.
