Im in the Northern suburbs and i have a R34 GT-T and i think its running rich and it needs a service.

Any help is great thanks.

Best mate who is also a mechanic does backyard servicing for me. He also owns a R33 so no issues with him not knowing the car.

in Templestowe, Shane does a great job.

He does all Mechanical, electrical and even new tyre fittings / wheel alignments.

Plus I gota family friend at TGS Performance but I take it to his place cuz his workshop is a bit far out.

Just be careful though, you could turn into a back yard mechanic and you might start to not trust yourself.

Shame you don't know the full story, there is always two sides to every story.

- The "rebuilt engine" was purchased off e-bay.

- EAS were only paid to remove, and fit the other engine.

- They came across ALOT of issues with the engine.

- Fixed some, but customer did not have the money for them to strip the head completely and see what was going on.

- Upon pick-up, last night before Xmas closure (myself and a few other customers had already started the Xmas party), the customer was warned his "rebuilt" engine was not running right and should be looked at ASAP.

- He obviously didn't listen, and decided to boot it.

How is a w/shop responsible for another persons fark up?

If EAS was only paid to install a dodgey engine, why should EAS bare the cost of rebuilding the head, when they had nothing to do with the build?

The person was warned (i was there) and he obviously didn't listen.

service my own car.. as i am a mechanic.. i fix my own things.. whateva i cant do i send to CREATD.. cant speak highly enough of them.. Handling, the car goes to Centreline.. Very good setups and workmanship.

I know how alot of mechanics and workshops are.. know the ins and outs.. so the only people i would really trust is the guys at CREATD..

if you're properly into your car then there's nothing a qualified mechanic can do that you cant, except ofcourse dyno tuning etc, unless you got all the equipment....

i ocasionally let my brothers drive my car but i dont like it...
