Hi Guys,

I just cant understand why the exact same clutch is bieng sold in AUS for $2500 but on Nengun its only

Take a look for yourselves:

http://www.nengun.com/exedy/hyper-metal-twin-plate-clutch

It says that it could take up to 6 weeks to arrive, but have anyone on here ordered a clutch or similar item through them ?

Does it really take that long?

Cheers guys

dont forget to add import tax ontop of $1k orders from nengun.

but yes same reason as above lol, and yeah they will use the ETA to the full extent + more sometimes hahaha

although i just did 2 orders a few weeks ago and it was spot on with the ETA.

I hope you are patient if you do decide to order from Nengun.

I am sure that you can find the same part from another source that actually has it in stock, but they won't be as cheap as Nengun. Depends on how urgently you need it, I guess.

NYTSKY UR RIGHT

If the freight was'nt so high I would be buying everything from overseas

Nungun are overall good for parts orders

Anything f*ks up on the delivery and they will drop you like a stone tho

First hand experiance with missing parts in an order and they did nothing to fix it

Used Greenline

No problems

They don't have as many parts on line than Nengun tho

But are a little cheaper

Only reason I use Nengun still is because I can pay by Pay Pal on the spot.

It's too easy and my bank ballance shows it

I have been using Import Monster to get a second hand set of rims with tyres from Japan

Have'nt got them yet so will have to see

Anybody used Import Monster?

Havent used Import Monster, but just ordered from Greenline and found them awesome, i'll definately be dealing with them again. Fast response to my emails, happy to answer any questions i had and fast delivery service.

Greenline is better than Nengun

Ordering BBS 17 LM rims

Good to hear that they are ok

First time I have used them.

Ur right with shipping lol

Cost of shipping is the same as the cost of the rims 1500 + 1500 shipping

ive ordered from nengun twice.. first one was delivered on time, second one (turbo) was delivered ahead of the ETA by about a week.. so I can't complain at all with their service. Definitely worth looking at buying overseas if you've got the patience..

^^LOL :D would it be unethical to share your experiences? id be interested to hear.

ive ordered all manner of things for numerous cars from greenline over the past years, from dash clusters to driveline parts, and never once have had a problem, most cases the items were earlier than expected, with a confimation as soon as they send it off to you.

never tried nengun tho.

greenline are great i have no problem with them they've been suprisingly quick to reply to emails

nengun like to send stuff via a barge thats been towed behind an 80 yr old cripple in a kayak

as i said above tho i now use dan from elite for all my gear.. has been able to beat or match any price ive come across

oh.. and if you complain enough to nengun when your order is taking long enough they will actually delete your account the moment your gear arrives and refuse to sell to you ever again ;)

    • Welcome to Skyline ownership. Yes, it is entirely possible parts websites get things wrong. There's a whole world of inaccuracies out there when it comes to R34 stuff (and probably 33 and 32). Lots of things that are 'just bolt on, entirely interchangable' aren't. Even between S1 and S2 R34's. Yes they have a GTT item supposedly being 296mm. This is incorrect. I would call whoever you got them from and return them and let them know the GTT actually uses 310mm rotors. Depending on where you got them from your experience and success will obviously vary.
    • Hi...a bit a "development" on the brakes. I spoke to the guys where i get brakes from...and they are saying that 296mm EBC are for R34 GT-T. I then went to their site: https://www.ebcbrakes.com/vehicle/uk-row/NISSAN/Skyline (R34)/ and search for my car(R34 GT 1998 - it has GTT brakes) and it show me this USR1229 number and they are rly 296mm rotors... So now iam rly confused... The rotors i have now on the car are 310mm asi shown... So where is the problem? Does the whole EBC got it wrong or my calipers are just...idk know what?
    • Oh What the hell, I used to get a "are you sure you want to reply, this thread is XX months old" message. Maybe a software update remove that. My bad.
    • This is a recipe for disaster* Note: Disaster is relative. The thing that often gets lost in threads like this is what is considered acceptable poke and compromise between what one person considers 'good' looks and what someone else does. The quoted specs would sit absurdly outside the guards with the spacers mentioned and need  REALLY thin tyres and a LOT of camber AND rolling the guards to fit. Some people love this. Some people consider this a ruined car. One thing is for certain though, rolling the guards is pretty much mandatory for any 'good' fitment (of either variety). It is often the difference between any fitment remotely close to the guards. "Not to mention the rears were like a mm from hitting the coilovers." I have a question though - This spec is VERY close to what I was planning to buy relative to the inboard suspension - I have an offset measuring tool on the way to confirm it. When you say "like a mm" do you mean literally 1mm? Or 2mm? Cause that's enough clearance for me in the rear :p I actually found the more limiting factor ISNT the coilover but the actual suspension arms. Did you take a look at how close those were?
    • @GTSBoy yeah sorry i know thery are known for colors bud those DBA are too in colors 🙂 Green will be good enough for me
