Nice 34 Richard.

Im sure you have sat in an FD or two. How did you go for room? Im a tad shorter than you and even i though they are a little snug, as there is not much knee room.

shy S6, I just checked. it's a late 2001 build, but first reg 2002 so they marked it as a 2002 model. sadly not a spirit R, it's deffo an RZ. still nice though. ;)

dave, yeah the FDs certainly are a bit tight for the ample gentleman. but I manage! the tall man who likes 90s japanese sports cars is always doomed to be cramped in one way or another. i'm used to it!

anyway, back to the 34.... it's still for sale. had a few testing the water type enquiries and one pretty serious one, but nothing in the bag yet, so if it tickles your funny bone give me a shout. :(

Crikey blimey! I'm moving house this weekend and just realised I own 2 GTRs, 1 Silvia and a truck. so someone please buy my beatiful R34. I'm moving to within about 1 km of my office now so I wont even need a daily car anymore. So if you catch me in the right moment I'm ready to play ball. :)

and thanks Jack. ;) you should tax all the good bits off your 33 and tuck them away under this R34. but you could never do that, your 33 is far too nice to mess with mate.

thanks Ben. It's still for sale. I'm not in such a rush now as I've already had to pay for the RX7 etc but I do still want to sell this as soon as poss as the 7 will be on the road in the next week or so, and I just don't really have space for all the cars anymore.

someone please come check it out, you won't be dissapointed it lives up to expectations of what a really neat, clean R34 GTR should be. :)

Hi mate, current status, still for sale.

I'm really keen to shift it. Paying the RX-7 rego today :)

So, I'm dropping $1,500 off the price for the next few days. If this car interests you, give me a call and come check it out and make me an offer. You never know your luck in the big city!

I still have the brand new set of zenon's too in their boxes and could be persuaded to chuck them in fairly cheaply.

thank you. I have no idea why I haven't sold it yet. I know it's not the absolute cheapest GTR around, but it's certainly down the lower end price wise, and from my experience it's well near the upper end quality wise. sigh. well for now I'll just keep enjoying it. :P

Hi Richard,

I honestly dont think it's a price issue holding the car back from being sold, I think it's the overall market condition these days although I'm sure if this was in Bayside Blue then the car would have been sold many weeks ago so, at a guess it also may be that it's not most popular colour with potential buyers looking at R34 GTR's. There's absolutely nothing wrong with Silver but, I've noticed BB's to be a very popular colour for the BNR34's.

Good luck and I hope it sells soon and if not, you can sell the RX-7 instead! :thanks:

yeah I think you might be spot on there. Everyone I speak to loves the Blue. Personally it's down the bottom of my favourite R34 GTR colours list. but I'm often the odd one out. :D

I love the silver/grey, then probably white then red, then black, then probably blue after that then the gold and the green. yellow not even in the race for me...

So I think really all I need is one other person out there who loves the grey! come on 34 buyers, be different, we don't need another blue 34 GTR on the road. who would have thought a grey car could make you stand out in the crowd! and in the flesh I think it looks so tough.

The BNR34 Z-Tune is in a similar KV2 silver colour so, it has the plenty of potential to be very nice looking car with a

Z-Tune style bonnet, wide front fenders and 18" black Volk TE37 rims.

Damm.

I'm nearly selling the car to myself here.

Why dont you buy it Gav? ;)

haha, can't argue with that mate. Like I said I think in aus at least I am massively outvoted on the colour choice but surely there is another beer baron out there who needs a silver R34. come on! leave those handsome devils in their bayside blue GTRs in your wake! a few little carbon pieces really works with the silver. make my finances liquid again!

I actually quite like the silver colour now that ive seen one in the flesh at Powerplays. Put some black TE37's or LMGT4's, carbon ganadors, carbon Nismo style skirts and pods and Christ, dare I say, it would look better than a Bayside Blue car anyday.

If only I didnt buy my blue one already, I would seriously consider yours, and im not just saying that as well.

I'd have to agree with Richard here, Gayside Blue would be my last choice of colours. Silver in my opinion is the best. Still can't believe the car is still for sale.

Be patient, it will sell.

    • sold listed as a Tomei LSD 1.5 Way For 1998+ Nissan Skyline ER34 25GT RB25DE w/Open R200 https://www.ebay.com/itm/174006114594?campid=5338967980&mkevt=1&mkcid=1&toolid=10050&customid=&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&loc_physical_ms=108689&loc_interest_ms=&campid=5338967980&mkevt=1&mkcid=1&toolid=10050&customid=71883f2ccc571356e0a757bc7adfdde2&mkrid=710-53481-19255-0&loc_physical_ms=108689&loc_interest_ms= it went in like butter all gears, alignment, back lash etc, rotation and clearances correct, and if rolling all rotates smooth and free when coasting down road , clutch in or out over 10 mph smooth... its the binding, clunking and jerking from a stop that is most concerning, also seems like its going to tear the tires off in 10 miles of normal road driving.
    • What 1.5 way? There's no such thing really as a 1.5 way, just different ways of explaining 2 ways with different ramp rates. HOWEVER. In any driving in a straight line your 1.5 or 2 or 1.7 way should have no clunking at all. With the clutch fully depressed the diff should be silent (unless it's welded but I'm assuming it's not). Something aint right here.
    • Clutch is a spec brand, new clutch system,( PP, flywheel, friction disc, etc. pull type) installed 100 miles ago, with no problems.
    • looking for some help and maybe some insight on others experience with a new LSD. R34 GT ran and drove beautifully, but always alot of grip loss due to the open R200 rear end, so I just installed a new 1.5 LSD way into the stock open R200 for a ER34. Simple. Everything seemed right. I test drove for the first time this weekend. as I started to back out the garage the first time slowly with tires straight it sounded and felt like I had a loose or half disconnected drive shaft...that was clucking around loose and shaking entire vehicle, and making it feel like the trans clutch was spontaneously slipping then grabbing very roughly while just letting out pedal slowly. I backed it out went to pull forward with the same noise, shake and slip grab feeling with hesitation, I turned the tires to back out more and then pulled ahead some same thing but worst because of added wheel resistance (which that I expected) puzzled … pulling it back in checking everything over and finding nothing wrong, I tried it the next day. same thing, couldn’t believe how it shook everything again making a terrible noise and making it feel like the trans clutch was slipping and grabbing, but I got it out of garage into the driveway, got it straight, drove forward and then reveres a few times in a straight line everything shaking , causing what felt like clutch slip and grab every time, sounded like right behind front driver tire and I could feel it in the floor board with my feet,... worst right when beginning to let clutch pedal out to engage slightly, shuttering and sounding terrible along the way…I managed to slowly get down the road, babying it the whole way, once I was rolling (out of 1st) seemed to be better and between shifts, then clutch felt closer to normal…not slip/ grab etc., but back down to any stop, straight road or turning, same thing. Made no difference if all tires were straight or if I was turning. All other gauge read out correct. with in 2 miles as planned I reached the empty parking lot and performed the break in procedure that came with lsd, essentially to drive in a figure 8 a bunch.  Did this, binding chattering, and shaking the car the whole way. I drove it back home seemed somewhat normal once I was in straight line and past 10 mph or so, and I know it will “bind” on corners and cause some tires squeal when turning especially from a stop, but when I begin to move it still causes what feels like the trans clutch to slip and jerk badly as well as shaking the entire car, and sounds terrible, that I didn’t expect. I used the fluid they supplied with LSD kit and did the breaking, planning to change fluid as they suggest after breaking, but wondering will it get smoother or less aggressive with use? maybe a 1.5 is just too aggressive for normal road driving?   I have a LSD that I put in my 71 cuda when I restored it, with amazing smooth , quite yet effective results. Different style LSD but that ones a joy to drive. maybe expecting too much from this R200?
