At $175,000 plus on road costs as stated if bought from a dealer locally (most expensive in country for stamp duty) it will end up around $221,738.10 but $4,000 to $5,000 less in other states, if bought for $160,000 it would be $201,263.10.

Vehicle $175,000.00

LCT is $35363.10

Stamp Duty is $11375.00

Total price is $221,738.10

US basic coverage warranty is 36 month and 36,000 miles so hopefully Nissan Australia will offer the same deal.

Just to clarify, I think the $175K + onroads they quoted includes LCT, registration and stamp duty if in NSW. If not in NSW, you will have to allow for the other onroads such as registration + stamp duty + plates + roadworthy etc as applicable in your state. Basically means for the $175K price, you can drive the car back home to your state with NSW plates etc.

Normally if they stated $175,000 plus on road costs that would mean car only nothing else because on road costs are LCT, Rego, Stamp Duty and so on, if it does included these tax's what other costs would their be.

It would be advertised Drive Away if everything was included as I don't know of a dealer who would advertise a high end car with all tax included as the total price puts people off.

You may be right there...I was summarising what I could remember from the long conversation I had with them. I'm sure if people were wanting to order one, then a written quote would be provided to confirm exactly what is included or excluded.

In any case it is certainly seems to be getting up there in price to get one via these guys, compared to USA prices. Only time will tell what Nissan Australia will be doing with pricing/availability.

You guys are funneh.

You all forget when talking about this price crap is that some muppet out there WILL fork over 200k just to tel his mates hes got a GTR before everyone else.

Bloody oath mang...if you got the dough, why not?

now all the shit talkers sit down and stop dribbling

its been done just like i said

lol

for a car that doesnt have warranty here in Aus

for a 50k+ premium

for something thats all in jap

Oh, and it was not officially possible until after your post, so there were no shit talkers apart from yourself as it wasn't officially released by the gov't

so i am guessing that nissan Australia is bringing the GTR to Australia for over $200k soon????? or are people just talking crap????

I can tell you guys that Nissan Australia have the first Australia Delivered GTR (RED COLOUR) in Melbourne which they are currently evaluating.......

I think my RED R35 arrived in early July, way before Nissan

So that makes my car the first in Melbourne.

Also it's the first to be registered in Victoria

    • looking for some help and maybe some insight on others experience with a new LSD. R34 GT ran and drove beautifully, but always alot of grip loss due to the open R200 rear end, so I just installed a new 1.5 LSD way into the stock open R200 for a ER34. Simple. Everything seemed right. I test drove for the first time this weekend. as I started to back out the garage the first time slowly with tires straight it sounded and felt like I had a loose or half disconnected drive shaft...that was clucking around loose and shaking entire vehicle, and making it feel like the trans clutch was spontaneously slipping then grabbing very roughly while just letting out pedal slowly. I backed it out went to pull forward with the same noise, shake and slip grab feeling with hesitation, I turned the tires to back out more and then pulled ahead some same thing but worst because of added wheel resistance (which that I expected) puzzled … pulling it back in checking everything over and finding nothing wrong, I tried it the next day. same thing, couldn’t believe how it shook everything again making a terrible noise and making it feel like the trans clutch was slipping and grabbing, but I got it out of garage into the driveway, got it straight, drove forward and then reveres a few times in a straight line everything shaking , causing what felt like clutch slip and grab every time, sounded like right behind front driver tire and I could feel it in the floor board with my feet,... worst right when beginning to let clutch pedal out to engage slightly, shuttering and sounding terrible along the way…I managed to slowly get down the road, babying it the whole way, once I was rolling (out of 1st) seemed to be better and between shifts, then clutch felt closer to normal…not slip/ grab etc., but back down to any stop, straight road or turning, same thing. Made no difference if all tires were straight or if I was turning. All other gauge read out correct. with in 2 miles as planned I reached the empty parking lot and performed the break in procedure that came with lsd, essentially to drive in a figure 8 a bunch.  Did this, binding chattering, and shaking the car the whole way. I drove it back home seemed somewhat normal once I was in straight line and past 10 mph or so, and I know it will “bind” on corners and cause some tires squeal when turning especially from a stop, but when I begin to move it still causes what feels like the trans clutch to slip and jerk badly as well as shaking the entire car, and sounds terrible, that I didn’t expect. I used the fluid they supplied with LSD kit and did the breaking, planning to change fluid as they suggest after breaking, but wondering will it get smoother or less aggressive with use? maybe a 1.5 is just too aggressive for normal road driving?   I have a LSD that I put in my 71 cuda when I restored it, with amazing smooth , quite yet effective results. Different style LSD but that ones a joy to drive. maybe expecting too much from this R200?
