I like the torque curve to see where the power comes in and or drops off.

Torque is what makes the car go.

My boat has the torque of a big block, 650nm and about 600ish at 4000rpm if I'm remembering right.

I loves the torque.

You can calculate it from the power graph if you have the rpm but yeah always nicer to just have it from the dyno print out.

What is your setup man? Give us a brief rundown

i went over it in the nsw area ( http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/369768-why-so-many-window-lickers/page__st__20440__p__6192319#entry6192319 ).

built 25/30 + GT35 + stock head bar stronger valve springs + 26psi boost

2000 RPM = 60kw

2500 RPM = 80kw

3000 RPM = 130kw

3500 RPM = 180kw

4000 RPM = 260kw

4500 RPM = 310kw

5000 RPM = 350kw

5500 RPM = 390kw

between these two peaks at 394kw

6000 RPM = 390kw

6500 RPM = 385kw

dyno run ends early, limiter is set at 7500rpm

26psi @ 4000-4100 on the dyno run

crappy mspaint overlay - there is still no replacement for displacement it seems

We should put in a plus/minus variation to allow for ahhhh... dyno discrepancies, yeh lets call it that... say +/-2% :)

given the 2% rule mine would get in....

Would be keen to see my graph overlayed if any of the computer competent people are willing to do it.

Specs: 26/30 with GT35, .82 rear and some "nice" cams, makes 396-398kw on 20psi boost (wont hold any more boost)

Makes 23psi at 3200rpm, rev limit set at 7500.

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
