no idea... by asking the question i'm guessing not all manufacturers use the same measurement? ie, some use OD and some ID?

but don't we always just refer to 3"/3.5"/4" exhausts? i'm assumed that was always the OD?

if theyre the ones pictures then ive got a set (theyre ti too) and they are 80mm into a 90mm outlet

oooo... got a clip you could throw up by any chance/?

Best way to figure out what you would need is calculate your required flow and run it against varying pipe diameters.

prob getting a little technical for me, but i can give it a crack. How would one go about doing this? :D

this front pipe looks to be the same configuration as my veilside full system.

i.e. my front pipes collect into a 90mm main pipe BUT mine is mandrel bent SS (not lobster back TI).

look like merge to 90mm, not twin 90mm

soooo sexy.... :D

Pauly DIemar is actually making some front pipes these days, equal length and merge into 4", out of stainless... just under the four figure mark in price too!

Man of many talents.

If only I could order one

I made a my tuned length front pipes out of mild steel, 3inch into 4inch merge.

The welds Arnt as pritty as the race pace ones, cause I use a mig. But once they all heat wrapped you don't see any welds or anything. Cost me around 150 bux in materials. And a day of my own time.

I'll post a pic tonite of them before being painted and wrapped. Can't do it now as I'm on my phone.

There for me :-)

There a twin 2.75" into a 4" merge, but the design could easily be modified into a twin 3" to 4" system.

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
