My question is do these come stock on all R32 GTR's, or is it something only R32 V-Spec's got?

Having trouble picturing where they go, and do they do the same function as the Unique Auto Sports brake air deflectors?

I'll see if this works:

They are stock on all R32 Gt-R's. They sit immediately behind the lower spection of the front spoiler & bolt to the undertray.

They stop short of the front end of the castor rod & do not by any means channel air all the way to the brake rotor.

The Unique air deflectors attach to the castor rod & essentially take the air from the Nissan parts shown & channel it to the brakes.

You need both to do a half decent job.

Or some ducting of your own which is massively cheaper.

From memory the Unique stuff is about $300 - how much are the Nissan bits from RHD?

Actually as far as I know, if the N1 ducts are different from these Nissan air guides, I don't think RHDJapan lists them. Though if someone had the part numbers for them that would be handy

yeah the items shown are the stock channels underneath the undertray, although they are very commonly missing

moodles2 there are also n1 only factory air deflectors which bolt on the caster rods which might be what you mean. The UAS ones are much cheaper and better

I never managed to find the part numbers for the N1 ducts, ended up buying UAS deflectors which are a nice bit of kit. Just for refernce sake this is what the N1 ducts should look like:

yeah the N1 bits are the bits stuck to the castor rod and are rubber (well part rubber). the channels from the ducts in the front lip are stock. just most poorly looked after cars have them missing.

if anyone wants a set of the air guides (ie the bit that attaches to the castor rod and ducts air to your brakes) I have a set of spare UAS ones around here somewhere. They are the type 1 version. the current GTR ones are a bit bigger but are $295, these still work well and you can have mine for $75 if anyone wants them. they fit 32 and 33 GTST but I had some on my 32 GTR too for testing way back when. the new version II ones are the big ones and as above are now $295.

you don't need the nissan air channels to use the air guides. the air guide attached to the castor rod is the important bit as it grabs air and pushes it onto the brakes. it will still have airflow without the air channels, but would probably work a little better with them.

the ones I have are these ones, pm me if ya want em for $70.
