I'm a bit wary of SK as there have been problems with him providing the goods after ppl have paid for them. I dont know if all this has been rectified yet.

I can not speak highly enough of him. He has been very generous with his time and knowledge in every dealing I have had with him. Much of what he did for me was not financial gain buy for knowledge of a new model.

Why not have them sent COD?

when i asked gary the other week he seemed to think there was one in the pipeline anyway.

i'm keen to get this up and going :) lets start it soon!

something is creaking under my car so some rubber bushes or the like are gone somewhere hopefully its the swaybars.. or the tein's i dont know yet.

that grill is hot!! id debadge and slap that grill in and no one will know what it is

Xanadu grill & kit.

Very similar to the Balsinari or Kenstyle grills that is available (but without the Kenstyle insignia on the right side)

M35 Nismo S-Tunes, fairly cheap, buy it now. Says 2WD, but i think these may fit the AWD models from the look of them

Rears, yes, fronts, no. Front shock on AWD doesn't have forked lower mount, it is flat on the end with a groove machined around. Bolts into the curved, forged link bolted to lower control arm. This is because of the front driveshaft.

From what I have read, they are getting pretty good reviews in Japan.

I don't know how that equates to our shitty roads, but from all accounts, quite a nice set of shocks - especially for the price!

Soooo.... are you going to post all the bits that you think are a good buy?

I don't get this thread. I know that the premise was good, but how many times has someone had their eye on something, posted it here and called dibs?

...And if someone did call dibs and another poster really, really desperately wanted the same item, would they really not bid?

I don't want to get in a bidding war as much as the next guy, nor do I have the money to.

I guess I just like the surprise when someone announces a mod they bought/installed and of what benefit it is, especially if I was curious about it.

yeah as i come across some good stuff i post it. if both people wanted it anyway, then they would have a bidding war on anyway even if it wasnt posted on here.

plus, some people dont have the time to trawl through 98 pages of 'M35' like we do, so i feel like im giving them a hand :)

but if someone calls dibs on something, i wont bid on it. thats me tho......

and also if i find something that i REALLY want, i wont be posting it here anyway :)

    • Or, is it a case of what it is like owning an R series Skyline? NFI what the previous owner has done or fiddled with... Ha ha ha After reading through this thread, I went on a bit of a research about the Q50/Q60. Now I'm quite intrigued by them! Is the AWD in them more like a WRX where it's always AWD, or is it more like the ATTESSA in the GTRs? By the sound of this TCU tuning, this sounds like a case of someone has made some real software for it, and you just need the right piece of hardware, and then you license that specific vehicle/TCU. Or is this a case of the software will be really expensive so only a few tuners have it, and you still have to pay a license per vehicle?
    • By popular demand.. it was a coil. Got my hands on 1 new OEM coil, replaced with the one that made the less noise difference when I unplugged it while the car was running and started the car up. No stutter and the engine light was gone. I guess I’ll buy the other 5 they have lol
    • No, code 21 is very straightforward. It can only be the things described in that diagnostic flow. In fact it has no way of knowing that the spark plug resistance is out of spec.
    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
