Thumbs up for effort though, this is what hapans when people have more money then sence.

^^ haha classic

meanwhile, are we sure he's dropped all the running gear in? I mean it would be very difficult to get the 4wd and everything in, someone must have a got a banged up gallardo cheap and used it all up...

like that bentley...mmm who wouldn't swap all the bits for some W12 loving :)

All the people claiming fails have pretty much failed so hard themselves collectively, I fear a paradox and the future of SAU (not to mention the universe).

How on earth could ripping the shitty v8 donk out of a mustang and replacing it with a Gallardo engine be a bad thing? Im gonna be the first to say it - motherf**king WIN! Id line that mustang up at the lights (its dark and i cant see the funny looking ass end) and think "dun dun dun, another american muscle car bites the dust" and then BAM!.... Id have the sound of that V10 ringing in my ears 5 sundays from now.

If you lot prefer the 8 banger and boring standard interior... well id be checking myself for aids quicksmart.

+1 wtf are you saying ONETEN?

what are you smoking?

that thing is fcuking foul

here's the lambo that donated the parts to the stang:

http://www.rhcollectibles.com/showroom/130...llardo-SE?sold=

personally i reckon its awesome... cos everyone know what a sack full of doorknobs the mustang is with its 1960's live rear axle etc. about time someone modernised the stang's drivetrain and suspension.

I think that's great!

I only like the style of ONE lambo. can't even remember the model, but it was designed to look like an F22 :D

THIS is a lambo i'd buy. If they stopped doing the "oh look how itallian and inventive we are" styling and just made it LOOK LIKE A CAR!

Maybe i'm slightly bias, as I have a soft spot for ponies... but still. Mustang body = win. Lambo engine = win. Why the hell not combine them?

Surely that conversion with the Lambo running gear and the donor Mustang would have cost close to the price of a second hand gallardo....
I can sort of imagine what motivated the engine conversion, but why the Lamborghini badging, rear bumper and interior? That's what I don't understand. :D

He might have picked up the Lambo gear for US$60,000 out of a wreck...and if he knows his stuff, probably did the conversion himself. Yeah the exterior bits are a bit weird. But I look at it in a street sleeper / teasing sort of sense; you wouldn't know it's got Lambo gear in it just by him blowing you away unless you were a die hard fan who knew the sounds of the engine/exhaust.

Not my thing personally but I can see what he was going for.

lol @ all the tards that think its a lambo with a mustang body style conversion. its a mustang that's been fitted with a lambo drivetrain and suspension. which is instant win in my books.

its like putting R35 GTR drivetrain, interior and suspension into an R33. Making something that's ghey with aids less ghey by putting in something that oozes heterosexuality and Chuck Norris-like awesomeness.

    • Hi...so a "development" here aswell The swap is "done" and car went "test drive" BUT it seems the clutch(maybe gearbox?) is a little bit sad? I bought this clutch kit https://justjap.com/products/xtreme-heavy-duty-organic-clutch-flywheel-kit-nissan-skyline-r31-r32-r33-push-type "Problem" is that the first gear is hard to put into and it seems that the clutch is not disengaged. It was not the problem with the old clutch...(or like sometime the first gear would not get as easy specialy when the fluid was cold) So? Can it be like...bad "install" or is the clutch wrong ((it should not have been) i done research to get the right one) Or is this "normal" with new clutch and needs to be break in?
    • @Duncan I can try  and thanks i did not thought about VIN and part numbers for 33/34. @GTSBoy yeah it looks like iam gonna do that
    • Forgot to include this but this is the mid section of my steering rack that looks like it has a thread/can be turned with that notch mentioned in the post:
    • Hey everyone, Wanted to pick some brains about this issue I'm having with rebuilding my 33 rack (PN is 49001-19U05). All of the tutorials/videos I've seen online are either R34 or S Chassis racks which seem to be pretty straightforward to disassemble but this process doesnt carry over to my rack. Few of the key differences that I've noted The pinion shaft on the other racks bolt on with 3 torx bolts: Whereas my rack bolts on with 2 allen head bolts: These changes are pretty inconsequential but the main difference is how you pull the actual rack out of the housing. The other skyline/s chassis racks can be taken out by tapping the rack out of the body with a socket and it just slides right out. I'm unable to do that with my rack because there's a hard stop at the end that doesn't let the seal/shaft be tapped out. Can also see a difference in the other end of the rack where mine has a notch that looks like you're able to use a big wrench to unthread 2 halves of the rack whereas the other racks are just kinda set in with a punch. My rack: Other racks: TLDR; Wanted to know if anyone has rebuilt this specific model of steering rack for the R33 and if there were any steps to getting it done easier or if I should just give this to a professional to get done. Sorry if this post is a bit messy, first one I've done.
    • I would just put EBC back on the "I would not use their stuff" pile and move on.
