on a positive note.... was dropping a mate off at brisbane airport yesterday when a whole bunch of japanese airline crew walked past.... the pilot, i pressume, commented ... 'aahhh... skylineee.... you must come Japan... more skylineee there... all very big big and beri fast...'

i assumed he's talking about the new R/G35s...

girls AND cars... can't go wrong with THAT combo... no tuning required :looney:

btw, i would also like to comment that this is easily one of the BEST threads ever started... have been laughing non-stop.... ;)

Indeed!! go the japanese high school gals!

shit! did i say that out loud!

nothing better than having a skyline and a hot japanese gal in the passenger seat

"I think im turning japanese, i think im turning japanese i really think so!!"

ROTFL

i can just see it now, start a hybrid japanese-australian culture

drink wasabi beer and kneel on XXXX cartons to eat dinner wearing thongs and using chopsticks

ROTFL

oh god i need sleep

maybe i shouldnt have poured a drink of jack daniels into a 1 litre glass at 1am

I'm not dissing you guys at all, but I just think that it's highly improbable that a Japanese would even know a Skyline when they saw one, let alone know the model name ie: GTS-T etc.

Even I get abused for being a Nissan freak by Japanese... like it's wierd or something. I think either a) you guys are very lucky to have run into a Japanese thats knows (read: gives a sh!t about) cars, B) they weren't Japanese but some other nationality, or your telling porkies!!!:)

Oh, but back on topic...

I had two Japanese guys drive up in a slammed '90 Toyota Crown while I was walking down the right hand side of a street with my wife, then the guy on the passenger side winds down his window and leans out and shouts "Gaijin!!!" as they slowly drove past. I just yelled back "F@ck you too!" then forgot about it, but my wife got REALLY upset, got his liscence plate number and when we got home, she was going to report the guy to the police! I just said "Baby, he just called me a name, thats all", but boy was she mad... and it was me who was called out!

ha ha

it's good to find someone in those Toll Booths that Actually HAS a personality....

On the Harbour Bridge booth was where i got the "Full sik car Bro" from a Maori bloke (NZ).... we had a quick yarn... Nice Guy...

Hahhaahhahaa...i get that guy most of the time!!! Pretty nice guy! He even noticed when i got my twin plate and i was stalling it all over the joint!! :)

oh yeah...and had some idiots in a camry ask me (when they caught up) if i'd pressed a button to make me go fast....too much fast ad furious me thinks! :

I was at a set of lights while checking out this hot chick walking by wearing practically nothing. She was looking and enjoyed the attention when her fat ugly friend beside her ruined the moment with the call "PERVERT." I think she was jealous I wasnt looking at her.

we were stoped at another set of lights,

these japanese tourists were walking across the crossing,

they seen us.. their like ohh look skyrine ahh skyrine gtst hai, haha they were jugeling their camras and trying to get them out and take photo :D it was funny, we gave em thumbs up (Y) :)

they proberly though they were at home...

He he.

Me and a bunch of mates a few years back had a Japanese tourist come up to us in our 31s and asked "You drive Skyrine?"...Nah S**t!

well i was in my gemini....

and some **** driving a skyline had a fat bitch sitting next to him. like...REALLY FAT!

i lean out d window n say:"save a whale. shoot dat b1tch"

he replied:"ur car sounds f-cked. take d grease out of ur hair and put it in d engine"

for which my shit comeback was:'take some fat out of dat bitch, melt it and give it to me"

lol

    • I thought that might be the case, thats what I'll start saving for. Thanks for the info
    • Ps i found the below forum and it seems to be the same scenario Im dealing with. Going to check my ECU coolant temp wire tomorrow    From NICOclub forum: s1 RB25det flooding at start up Thu Apr 11, 2013 7:23 am I am completely lost on this. Car ran perfectly fine when I parked it at the end of the year. I took the engine out and painted the engine bay, and put a fuel cell with an inline walbro 255 instead of the in tank unit I had last year. After reinstalling everything, the engine floods when the fuel pump primes. if i pull the fuel pump fuse it'll start, and as soon as I put the fuse back in it starts running ridiculously rich. I checked the tps voltage, and its fine. Cleaned the maf as it had some dust from sitting on a shelf all winter, fuel pressure is correct while running, but wont fire until there is less than 5psi in the lines. The fuel lines are run correctly. I have found a few threads with the same problem but no actual explanation of what fixed it, the threads just ended. Any help would be appreciated. I found the problem though. There was a break in one of the ecu coolant temp sensor wires. Once it was repaired it fired right up with no problems. I would have never thought a non working coolant temp sensor would have caused such an issue.
    • Hi sorry late reply I didnt get a chance to take any pics (my mechanics on the other side of the city) but the plugs were fouled from being too rich. I noticed the MAF wasn't genuine, so I replaced it with a genuine green label unit. I also swapped in a different ignitor, but the issue remains. I've narrowed it down a bit now: - If I unplug and reconnect the fuel lines and install fresh spark plugs, the car starts right up and runs perfectly. Took it around the block with no issues - As soon as I shut it off and try to restart, it won't start again - Fuel pressure while cranking is steady around 40 psi, injectors have good spray, return line is clear, and the FPR vacuum is working. It just seems like it's getting flooded after the first start I unplugged coolant sensors to see if its related to ECU flooding but that didnt make a difference. Im thinking its related to this because this issue only started happening after fixing coolant leaks and replacing the bottom part of the stock manifolds coolant pipe. My mechanic took off the inlet to get to get to do these repairs. My mechanics actually just an old mate who's retired now so ill be taking it to a different mechanic who i know has exp with RBs to see if they find anything. If you have any ideas please send em lll give it a try. Ive tried other things like swapping the injectors, fuel rail, different fuel pressure regs, different ignitor, spark plugs, comp test and MAF but the same issue persists.
