hi there.

does anyone know where to get Rotor's & brakes for the m35. or part numbers?

thanks

Original - see Nissan or Ben at North Shore Prestige could source some for you. (X-trail & 350Z share same parts one is fron other is rear) there is a set for sale on e-bay currently.

Updrade, A & B motor sports will do K-sport 6 or 8 pot sets including rotors for around $2.5k installed. . , ebay have a few as well of other brands. .

All depends on your budget . . . .

If the one on ebay are from Jdm yard and the price is right for you guys. go for it. they are awesome guys to deal with. i got mine thru there and told him the part numbers so he could do something about them.. he is a rda dealer also and gets good prices :(

tell em I sent you (Andrew with the Gtr/m35 stagea)

Pretty much anywhere I guess as they are the same front and back setup as the non-brembo Z33 350z.

well if that is correct, the RDA group buy on here is the place to go. I just picked up slotted front rotors $260 and (crappy) green stuff pads $150

no 33gtr brembo but got a set of f50's tho. stag should do wheel stands with them on :P

you selling em? if so how much? I presume they are a straight bolt up onto a R33 GTR?

Yes, indeed.

Rianto has some very good prices on rotors... but I would take the QFM A1RM (ask Jetpilot1986) pads over Green stuff anyday.

I think i am keeping them. they are on the 32 i guess it might just be a bracket i had custom hats and rotors made for them

If it fitted on your R32 good chance with only some slight tweaking it will bolt up. I have standard R32 GTR callipers with brackets to suit r33 GTR 324mm rotors

Hi guys,

I have been searching for hours but I can't find the part numbers for the RDA slotted rotors for M35 (front and rear), like the ones this guy is selling:

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=370435686762

Also, would the cheaper QFM pads be fine for normal driving?

Thanks heaps Dunc! I was literally searching for two hours...... maybe I read a few threads more than once due to the red wine

I only knew the part numbers because I installed them on Monday night, and had taken a photo of the box prior to installing them! Great upgrade btw.

I believe Scotty is running QFM pads, A1rm from memory. He wont stop raving about them.

    • Wife wanted basket things in the wardrobe in our temporary house. Thought about ripping our the wardrobe and fitting the entire IKEA set, but it's a temporary house and we want to move in a few years. So IKEA advertises this as a 50cm unit, however the actually basket and rails measure 46cm wide. Only issue was depth, IKEA stuff is quite deep, where as the builder special junk is super shallow at less than 40cm. Send it, chopped the rails, then offset the mounting holes, job done, happy wife, less shit scattered all over the bedroom. Did the same to the other side too. Also drove the Skyline shit box today, dropped off oil at Supercheap Auto. I didn't realise they only now take max 2x bottles per visit. I visited 2x Supercheap Autos.
    • I've seen similar actually in my situation. You never know what tables are attempted to be used when the car thinks it's -99C or +200C. The fail state is not usually that extreme but you know what I mean - it was in my case though! This is where being able to read all the sensors is useful cause you see this stuff really quickly.
    • The above is very important. However as long as you keep timing relatively low, it's plausible to make your own knock ears and plausible to learn to tune with a modern ECU that can do wideband O2 correction like a boost controller. I mean if you only have one viable road to even drive the car on, learning to tinker to this level may be worth doing given you can't do much else with the car...?
    • I find the fact that the rear plate has to be bent inwards at the rear not so bad: but the front is just awful: It's like come on. (these are my very old, now retired/turned in plates) TBH it is a lot of money to fix a minor issue, the fact I said "I'll never really spend the money on doing this" is why people ended up buying them as a gift for a 'car guy' who can be hard to shop for.. for car guy things.
    • I just bent the ends of my premo plates. It even went through Regency like that after the engine conversion and the inspector (a great bloke!) just squinted his eyes and said "I didn't see that". Plates, and how they look, are just something that have zero importance to me.
