THe pic where taking in like 1min umm yea well i like my chromies i still run 11sec 1/4

I have drift r rims i might put them back on but i beat would be a lot quicker +the girls like the rims lol ;)

Just my 2 cents.

Being a girl, i can say we do not like the rims (at least all the ones i know dont)

Its usually dudes that like those rims ;) dudes in commodores.

I dont mind the missing wing, i like the colour of the body (white interior is not so good IMO)

and im not a fan of the back window stickers, i usually see that as a falcadore thing to do too!!!

But its not always about the aesthetics, it is about the engine too

post another pic so we can see the kit better maybe one of the engine too!

(having said that im at work and generally cant see most photos on these forums so dont slam me if there is one)

Well unless you're using one of these

tachihara_4495.jpg

I'd hope it only took a minute

it has after market prtey much evry thing the turbo is dieing but it lasted a good 3mouth and i got the dyno il get back to you when i findthe print out moved house some stuff in storage

the turbo lasted 3 months??????

Wow...props to you my friend.

Have to say it, i'm gonna agree with the majority of the people in this thread.

Rims = horrible. If you have drift R rims, put them back on. Anything would be an improvement

And tell the truth mate. I know what it feels like to try and be cool and make up sh*t to impress the ppl on here (yes i've done it...and i'm not proud of it)

But seriously, it's not worth it, you're only wasting your time..no one cares if you've only got a stock R33 that runs 15s. As long as you're passionate about the import scene, take note of advice ppl give you and are willing to learn things from people who know more than you

I was going to copypasta something then that would probably have offended you unintentionally Passive so I won't lol

Lol ta?

i only read the first few posts before putting mine in

Plus this is my eleventh day at work straight so my brain isnt functioning as well as it should be ;)

mate if you look next to the 11.79 on the drag slip you will probably see that is says something like 1/8 or possibly 800m.

or you are running drag slicks and have a very large 'magic' bottle in the car.

but if you really did run an 11, you shouldn't have any problem letting us all know the speed it ran it at and your 60ft time.

all else i can see is that it smells like herd of cattle that had eaten something dodgy spent the night in here

sorry, but you asked for my opinion, so i'm gonna give it, ;)

rims - fail

no wing - fail

white interior - epic fail

clear tail lights - epic fail

2/10

get decent rims, put back the stock tail lights, drop it 2 inches, remove the sticker that says drift and you'll be getting somewhere...

remember this is just MY OPINION, and i'm not just being a flamin mongrel ;)

lol agree with above. plus remove the tisonics alarm sticker on the rear quarter window... cheapo alarm why advert it

tint the windows too

rate it 2.5

11 second quarters ,,, yeah right being pulled by a 747

1st my mate drove it down 1/4 went to syd for the week whn i 1st got it 11.79 and now its defected all back to stock and wen you strip it seats/boots jack other stuff made 247kw and with boost and as you noe most mods i hve spent over 38ganrd on the car i noe what ican do

come on man. dont insult us with those stories

What about those two years you did in juvie for boosting cars? Tucson, right? I had Jesse run a little background check on you, Mr. Brian Earl Spilner. He can find anything on the web, anything about anyone. So, why bullshit?

dont call people greek. cockhole

i cant believe i missed all the fun... i tried to stay away from here, knowing exactly what was inside..

but alas, i canna help maself... GIT IN MAAA BELL-EYYYY!!!

38g could get you 3 preludes with fork engines.

    • Which solenoid? Why was it changed? Again, why was this done? ...well, these wear..but ultimately, why was it changed? Did you reset the idle voltage level after fitment? I'm just a tad confused ~ the flash code doesn't allude to these items being faulty, so in my mind the only reason to change these things, would be some drive-ability issue....and if that's the case, what was the problem? Those questions aside, check if the dropping resistor is OK ...should be 11~14 ohms (TCU doesn't throw a flash code for this) ~ also, these TCU designs have full time power (to keep fault code RAM alive), and I think that'll throw a logic code (as opposed to the 10 hardware codes), if that power is missing (or the ram has gone bad in the TCU, which you can check..but that's another story here perhaps).
    • Question for people who "know stuff" I am looking at doing the new intake like the one in the picture (the pictured is designed for the OEM TB and intake plenum), this design has the filter behind the front bar, but, the filter sits where the OEM duct heads into the front bar, and the standard aperture when the OEM ducting is removed allows the filter to pulled back out of the front bar into the engine bay for servicing, a simple blanking plate is used to seal the aperture behind the filter This will require a 45° silicone hose from the TB, like the alloy pipe that is currently there, to another 45° silicone hose to get a straight run to the aperture in the front bar Question: how will it effect the tune if I move the MAF about 100-150mm forward, the red is around where my MAF is currently, and the green would be where it would end up Like this This is the hole the filter goes through  Ends up like this LOL..Cheers
    • Despite the level up question, actually I do know what that is....it is a pressure sender wire.  So check out around the oil filter for an oil pressure sender, or maybe fuel pressure near the filter or on the engine. Possibly but less likely coolant pressure sensor because they tend to be combined temp/pressure senders if you have one. Could also be brake pressure (in a brake line somewhere pre ABS) but maybe I'm the only one that has that on a skyline.
    • Pull codes via the self-diagnosis procedure. As far as I can tell this is just a sign of transmission issues but not a code unto itself.
    • Hi All, putting the engine back together and everything is perfect except have this plug left over.. any ideas what it is for and where it goes? Is on cold side under the intake plenum *note not a stock plug, as everything has been modified Cheers
