thanks for a great day guys. I had a lot of fun and got to drop a few skids in the xr6t. Only thing i'd change is that last battle, everything else was great.

Is there a list of times that comes up at all? Would be nice to compare.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for coming!

Thanks to organisers and helpers for braving some of THE most REDICULOUS weather I've ever seen! I'm burnt like hell from the sun and my feet are peeling skin from the rain. The wind actually broke my umbrella!

Thanks to UNIGROUP ENGINEERING for the prizes to give out! (Don't forget, afternoon dyno day there on the 6th of March!)

Thanks to the Camaro boys for giving us a good show!

Thanks as always to the Canberra guys for doing much the same, and the commitment to travel all that way for a flat bit of tarmac! :P

Much the same to the Wollongong boys!

Times will probably be up some time tomorrow.

Awesome day folks.

As for sunburnt - doesn't even begin to describe my forehead. Maybe Sunroasted, sun-char-grilled.

Its way beyond burnt.

Was great seeing some nice cars driven in anger :-)

As for the Camaro's. God Damn!

But safe to say Coilovers 1 - Leaf Springs 0

lol. good work today everyone, I enjoyed some skids despite the shithouse weather for part of the day, and it looked like there were plenty of people enjoying the skids!

good work from the camaro guys too, I think a lot of the courses were a bit tight, but man they smoke tyres and sound good.

Thanks to UNIGROUP ENGINEERING for the prizes to give out! (Don't forget, afternoon dyno day there on the 6th of March!)

Indeed, a massive thanks to Yavuz at Unigroup Engineering for the prizes we gave out today.

Also, a big thanks to all the people who organised and helped out today - as Chubbs, Steve-O and Doof have already mentioned, these days could not go ahead without your help and support, so THANK YOU!

LOL!!! :rofl::P

Had an awesome day today for a first timer too! Thanks to everyone involved for putting it together. Ran very smoothly! :P

Oh and the rain made it more interesting.

Good to meet a few new faces too!

thanks doof, might see when mats leaving.

I'll be at the truck stop just before Picton Road (On Mt Ousley) leaving at 6AM from there...

(Matt the rb30 breaker)

Are you bringing your trailer?

did you make it home OK?

did you make it home OK?

I made it... But the age ol' RB30 still has that horrid rattle in it...

Seems to mainly be when free revving and taking off, once properly loaded it "seems" fine...

Meh... That's what you do to $600 motors... I hope I pleased everyone with the effort... :D:P

And to everyone who organised, THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH, I don't think I've EVER driven my car that hard EVER before... I especially liked taking on that GTR in the first battle, whom only got home first as he missed the gate...

hmm may not be a bearing after all then (although you bloody deserve it if it is :P) generally a big end is a rythmic knock that gets worse when you rev it (more revs = more load = more noise)

Yeah, it seems to shut up once I've got it loaded...

And come on, I've already done a big end... Or are you meaning I deserve it for such avid use of a hard limiter?

Great day guys - thanks to all the organisers....steveo, neil, duncan, chubbs, dr top bloke, ando, spanna and stu! (sorry, editted!)... top effort boys

glad to see the mighty 180 survive yet another thrashing! So stoked to see it finally running nicely.... an SR with no rattle... after 100,000kms...AMMMMMMMMMMAZING

oooo and thanks for my prize! Unigroup..here i come!

your car has a rev limiter?????

I call it a rev limiter, every else seems to call it a bang bang feature...

    • Hey all  im wondering if you can help me please I have put a rb20 box in my r34 gtt as my auto packed up and a friend had a spare box I know it’s not ideal but it will get me up and running for now. we have done the conversation and everything is working great but my Speedo we got a s13 speed sensor but my Speedo reads double now and I bought a speed converter but still not having any luck.  so I thought I’ll reach out and pick your brains  any help would be appreciated please as I wanna drive my car again
    • Drain it. I got official Matic D but you can get whatever is listed as Matic D compatible.
    • Thanks guys,  Yeah I should at least have them dynoed, at least then I know what I've got as a starting point.  The springs on these are hard as rocks. I vaguely remember Russman saying he was going to sell the shocks to me with the rocks fitted, as he was keeping the softer springs for his new setup.  I didn't click at the time but of course that was to let me know the shock/spring wouldn't be matched.  I also remember pricing up new springs around 2014-15, but, house, money etc. it never happened. So that was another reason to have them rebuilt. I have rebuilt the forks on many motorcycles so I think I could handle the seals on these easily enough, but getting the valving right would be a rabbit hole I cbf exploring.  Duncan, interesting to hear RP was tuning these back then. I might give them a call.  In the mean time I have been busy fitting sway bars. The Whiteline rear sway bar I purchased 15 years ago finally got fitted, along with the Whiteline front bar that showed up last week. Just waiting on new links for the front sway bar to finish that off.  And my spare set of advan AVS VS5's should be back from the powder coaters in a Pearl White finish sometime this week, with a set of Hankook RS4's lined up for fitting.  And then I just have all the suspension bushes to do. A comprehensive kit is on the way... Lots to do before the Ararat hill climb. Cheers guys 🍻
    • Nice car! I’m glad folks in the US have gotten past the FnF and are buying real cool cars like the 260RS I was with a bunch of mates in Portland about a year ago and spotted a green Stagea (just a regular 2.5T AWD) parked about 2 blocks away and they were like “a what?” So I made a bet with them for a round of beers and said “ok one of you run down there and tell me if the steering wheel is on the correct side” 5 mins later the American comes trudging back up the hill and goes “he’s right guys. Ok what beer do you want?”
    • Should replace OR drop the tank, give it's good clean. Might be worth replacing that entire fuel level/pump/cradle thing with this: https://frenchysperformancegarage.com/products/fpg-s13-180sx-r32gtst-single-pump-hanger-kit-billet-hat-6-v3-fpg-089?gQT=2
