Yeh, definitely might need tick boxes instead of radio boxes up there, Im the same as Basti, time, money..etc... but would be interested, want to start getting into it once ive put my new turbo in.

2 other things affecting it for me: my lack of socializing with sau outside of the net makes me feel a little nervous, not that I will be judged or abused or anything, just I have close to 0 mates that are interested in cars, so no one to come with me. 2. I have been to winton once before, but barely knew what I was doing, what happens if your a noob on the track and everyone has to slow down as you go around corners? do u get hailed with stones as they flog past or whats the go?

Dude, just come to a meet, then to DECA. We're a very friendly group and you'll make friends in no time.

Stay the night for DECA and I promise you you'll have about 10 new friends requests on facebook the next day, due to the half dozen embarrassing photos you were tagged in that you don't recall happening.

WYTSKY, generally there are driver training groups, and I highly recommend you do a couple of those before going out and hitting the circuit alone.

As for me, well, won't be until a few years away before I get the balls to go out on the track again >_< Plus I need a half decent car.

Don't you have an EVO or something now?

Bring on all the motorsport!

Ryan. I can offer help for DECA's as usual and maybe a bit more with motorsport stuff if my work commitments aren't too crazy this year.

lol, i might hold you to that

all right, i'll try to make the next meet  provided I can get my new turbo on in time.

Definitely interested, I would love to get my car on the track. The less formal the better, I dont want to race just beat my own times and see how the car holds up.

See if we can get Ash to cook some snags for us again, if he can go.

Do I really need to answer this?

I would definitly enter an SAU run event at Winton - the only thing stopping me would be 'other' commitments. As long as there is plenty of notice, I'm there!

Sounds like a great idea.

I'm planning on going to more track days this year, funds permitting. Just added a catch can, oil cooler getting fitted atm, trying to make the car as track friendly as possible to get to more of these days.

What's the point of having cars like ours and not being able to drive them to their full potential, and that can only be done at the track!

I wish. Still driving my POS Ford lol. Got other priorities to worry about at the moment which blows.

    • Yes, I know🙄 but the sequential is not in my budget... don't want to reduce power neither, so looks like I'm stuck in the rabbit hole🤣
    • You’ll be very upset when you bust that too not to mention the gearing totally sucks. Don’t do it.
    • Is the panel filter one that is oiled? Have you ever cleaned or touched the AFM?
    • So.... the K&N air box thingo was too big, ended up gifting it to a mate, well, by gifting it he actually supplied food and beer at the pub,  which was nice, as it will not sit on a shelf in the garage for the next 10 years I did trim up some of the existing stuff to neaten it all up and gave it some wrinkle paint, unfortunately it currently has a used and abused mish mash of different types of hose clamps, 4 big fat T bolt type (shit), and a few normal clamps of vairing sizes and brands, but..... only until the 6 constant tension black worm clamps that I ordered from EFI solutions turn up next week Currently the current hose clamps are triggering me hard, LOL Is this the final version, probably not, I really want just 2 silicone pieces, a straight bit of silicone from the filter to the MAF is easy and will happen as soon as I head into Just Jap tomorrow, the problematic part is a 30° silicone bend from the MAF to the TB that I can connect the engine breather from the head, I found that there are bulk head fittings for boat bilge pumps that should work, but until I can get a 30° silicone bend the alloy pipe, and the 11ty thousand hose clamps, are there for the foreseeable future 4 hose clamps are golden, 6 are grudgingly acceptable, the 8 currently holding it all together is just taking the piss    I've also ordered 60 more retaining wall blocks for the front yard, I mis-gonculated the height that was required to get above the base of the Photinia's (red robin's) that are the hedge behind the front fence, currently it is 2 blocks high, and about 1/2 a block short, so going 3 blocks high will be above the base of the red robin's, and allow some room for mulch
